Starmer 'WILL change law to allow trans people to self declare their gender in line with Scotland.Sir Keir Starmer would change the law to allow transgender people to self-identify their gender if Labour is elected, it has been revealed. The Labour Party's divisions over Scotland's controversial new gender law were laid bare yesterday, as MPs were said to be split over whether the party should back First Minister Nicola Sturgeon's new rules, supported by Scottish Labour, on transgender recognition. Mr Starmer has now said he would 'update' the gender recognition act, despite concerns the move could affect women's rights, The Telegraph reported. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11570689/Labour-war-Scotlands-new-law-changing-gender.htmlIs this how Starmer thinks he's going to win back the red wall?

It is looking like Sturgien might be Starmer's Achilles heel.
There is no way a large section of Labour support is going to support this.

He's a class A arsehole. Never let a lawyer run your country.
See this interview with a professor of woke from the Telegraph. I started watching it last night an it was very good. Indeed coming from the British press it was exceptional. The ratio according to scientific studies is the population are against woke on a 3:1 ratio.

Polls show that women are more supportive of transgender rights than men. Where did you stand on women's rights in the 70s and 80s, Red? Rights! What rights? I was in the army. To ensure your safety I was freezing my balls off sitting in a trench, or steel box on tracks, facing east on the northern plain of Germany waiting for the Soviet invasion. You wouldn't know anything about it, and I agree, ignorance is indeed bliss. PS, Merry Christmas.

Liberalism holds that people should be allowed to do whatever they please provided they don't harm other people. Transgender people aren't harming anyone. They just want to be happy, like everyone else. Now, tell us what you did for women's rights. The feminists of that era faced a lot of opposition. I would have thought you would been on the opposing side.

It must have been the 'woke' movement of its time. Which side of the divide were you on?

That's how it was meant to appear. In fact, the Feminist movement was the brainchild of financiers at the 1959 Bilderberg conference. The plan was to increase the available workforce thereby reducing its unit cost.
Not many people know about it, but billions of dollars in today's money was ploughed into supporting the cause. Result: virtually all households now have two working adults whereas in the fifties the norm was just one.

It's just I wouldn't like to think you were using a cause you didn't support back in the day as a club to beat a different cause you don't support today.
