You are a victim of your own stance.
Yes they did they voted their sorry arses out with the largest defeat in UK polit history.
As I posted earlier, Tory propaganda using denigration and insults has always been the Tories most powerful weapon. How would you know? You have openly stated you don't read links or do any research. So exuse me if I read your posts for nothing more than the comedy they provide.

I have stated that there are some links I don't open because their bias destroys debate, I have never stated I don't do any research. So both your accusations are Rightist lies. You post like a true Tory. Thanks for the laugh

So several hours later the lack of a link from Pacifico rather shows it was just more made up BS from him.

You say such things about me then when I point out the ridiculousness of your statements you accuse me of distorting your words. You are a waste of my time. At first you were funny, then simply annoying. Now you are just boring me, Of course I will never ever vote for a party with people like you in it. Thanks for confirming the correctness of my decision never to vote Labour. If you ever bother to read up on, i.e. educate yourself on the good done by New Labour, you will understand just what an extremely ill-informed poster you are, especially given the mess they inherited in 1997. Now be a good boy and don't bother me again. You are just an arrogant and pompous fucker with delusions of superiority. If you stopped bothering me with your rancid Blairite cultishness, I'd have nothing to respond to.

As you cannot equate with the Moderates in the Labour Party, that makes you a less moderate individual and makes your opinions of little interest. Especially as you are full of bad opinions about NL/Moderates without even knowing or even showing any interest in the good side of NL and the moderates. In short you have a very unbalanced view of politics, so unbalanced it seems your posts are more about your personal needy feelings than about logic.

A nurse might have a specific salary but their earnings could potentially rise significantly by working extra bank shifts .

A nurse might have a specific salary but their earnings could potentially rise significantly by working extra bank shifts . So yes nurses in bands 1 to 7 can earn extra by working say 60 hours a week. But when we're trying to compare like with like that's at best irrelevant and more like a serious distortion. Also they only get 50% overtime premium (100% for bank holiday overtime). So what some are doing is working two jobs (one as contract nurses).

Nurse can earn more by working overtime ..60 hours is not required. Any time over your stated hours is overtime. There is a bank system where you can book extra hours too. My daughter does that when she feels like it . Afaik you can do agency work too. Very well paid for some .

If you're objectively comparing you have to compare over same number of hours but thanks for admitting nurses are moonlighting on agency work. Last nurse I spoke to outside of a medical facility had just resigned to go full time agency work and earn more by working less hours. That isn't a way forward for the NHS or its patients is it?

Agency work is very well paid . Especially theatre nurses. My daughter was going to do the six months theatre nurse training after completing her degree , move to community nursing and earn the high fees for agency work in theatres. Instead she applied and got a local community nurse position before she completed the training. Now she has to suffer a nice car given to her from the NHS , paid overtime for admin work at home and occasional bank work to pay for holidays and home improvements . Poor thing.

Like it or not we still have massive vacancies in the NHS and the NHS can't afford to fill them all with agency staff. And key root causes include not paying going rate base salaries, taxing GPs at a marginal rate of 83% and lying about a supposed independent pay review body that isn't.
