So Red you're off on a rant but can't actually answer those two questions. Let me help you
A) of course she was regularly stealing tablets
B) violation of control of opiates is a serious matter for a medical professional
And no one said it was crime of the century as you falsely imply. FFS she pleaded guilty and got a conditional discharge - just about the lightest sentence a court can give

FFS she pleaded guilty and got a conditional discharge - just about the lightest sentence a court can give FFS this is special, even for you. All relevant info is in the thread. She was charged with taking two (2) tablets. In court the prosecutor stressed that she was not responsible for the large number of tablets that were missing. Quite clearly, due to lax control procedures several staff were taking tablets. Yet apparently, this had nothing to do the manager in charge. This is called poor management which in my experience is the norm in civvy street.

A picture paints a thousand words, while the NHS employs nurses that look like this we are doomed. This is what a nurse should look like.

It's not that they write for a reading age in double figures is it. Here you are, try reading each word out loud: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11561527/NHS-nurse-SACKED-caught-stealing-two-tablets-hospital-drug-store.html

From the above link you just provided: Quote: NHS nurse is PROSECUTED after being caught stealing two tablets. Quote: The prosecutor stressed that the nurse was not accused of being responsible for the theft of all of the drugs. Quote: A number of staff were found to not be following the correct procedure in the handling of medication. Stephen, I suggest Mrs K increases your medication lol.

OK Rouge you need it in year 1 English terms:
'The prosecutor stressed that the nurse was not accused of being responsible for the theft of all of the drugs.'
Is not the same as your 'In court the prosecutor stressed that she was not responsible for the large number of tablets that were missing. '
Because the first refers only to the charge for the court to judge and does not exclude that she could be responsible for all. Your version does BIG difference.
Feel free to post your proof that she wasn't responsible for most of the tablets that went missing, feel free to show how breaking the rules on control of opiates is a minor matter for a medical professional. Won't hold my breath.

Just as soon as you produce your evidence that the prosecutor was wrong and she was responsible for stealing most of the tablets that went missing.

Why do you want me to evidence something I did not say? How bizarre. You really are struggling today Red.

Why do you want me to evidence something I did not say? How bizarre. You really are struggling today Red. This is becoming tedious. She was charged with taking two (2) tablets, and the prosecutor stressed that she was not responsible for the large number of tablets that were missing. Yet up the page you said, and I quote: "of course she was regularly stealing tablets". Perhaps you could share your evidence with the prosecutor.

View Attachment On the original article about her conviction there were a number of photographs of her in various outfits posing smiling like a model, if they were taken after her conviction she does not appear too be that bothered about her conviction or being sacked

I remind you that she was dismissed and that would have required evidence of serious misconduct. Your inability to read and understand what the prosecutor actually said is a tragedy, was that caused by misuse of opiates?

She was charged with taking two (2) tablets, and the prosecutor stressed that she was not responsible for the large number of tablets that were missing. No, they didn't. You have either misread or misunderstood what was written. Steve is correct. It says that they are not accusing her, not that she didn't take any additional tablets.
