Ah Jonksy Clarkson. How do you work out a charge of theft resulting in dismissal. Translates to your brain, your description of yours in thread name, that there is not a shortage of nurses. Pain killers over a certain dosage are controlled drugs. And could have affected her ability. Like a drunk driver.

Thank goodness there is a shortage of Jonksy's about. The trouble is there isn't. It is like Trump America. Kill kill kill Hate hate hate. All totally incapable of thinking for themselves. Or even making a attempt. Its like saying Lorry driver sacked for being drunk as he arrived for duty. How can there be a shortage of lorry drivers. That is the sum stupidity of the logic

Thank goodness there is a shortage of Jonksy's about. Well quite, he certainly hasn't read the article he's based that OP on Large numbers of tablets were going missing incl a prescription addictive drug and they found a culprit who pleaded guilty to two specimen charges. Only a fool believes it was only two tablets she stole.

She should be acquitted and given an apology.

Does seem a bit harsh - the prosecution stressed that they were not accusing her of the entire theft, only the two limited incidents.
Also one wonders why the Hospital did not have a first aid kit for staff use containing basic painkillers - what happened to looking after the welfare of staff?

The pharmacy trolley nurse could have made a killing when I was in hospital refusing pain killers. When asked why I wouldn't take them I calmly replied I wasn't in pain.

As you ignore the fact that the drug stolen could have been controlled. Affecting her judgement

And if they didn't, the duty pharmacist would have seen her straight.
It sounds as though there was a lot more to this than the thief of a couple of pills

Yes I know you do not know why I worry. But then you do not know very much. Do you. Its quite simple. In this case it is the NHS. The Westminster wankers decide what money the English NHS needs. That has been decimated as England is bankrupt. Once the decision is made the Barnett consequencials kick in, which I just know you do not have a clue what I am on about. And that amount is what Scotland gets back of its own money to fund the Scottish NHS. And that is fixed. In short not only do I pay for the Scottish NHS. I pay for yours as well. In terms of the cock up of the Scottish NHS. Healthcare spending in Scotland is £2,368 per person, while in England it is £2,182. Scotland has 76 GPs per 100,000 people, compared to England with 60 per 100,000 . The number of patients spending over 12 hours in A&E was 0.2 per cent in Scotland, 2 per cent in England. Scottish nurses are the highest paid in the UK. NHS waiting times. 945,072 people waited more than 12 hours in England A&E departments in 2021-22. That’s 48 times larger than the figure for Scotland 19,667, Scottish nurse average pay is £36,631 in England £33,384. In answer to your question I as a Scottish tax payer can no longer afford to keep subsidy junkies like you because you cannot live within your means. Getting insulted by your ilk for doing so. That is called a answer. Would you care to point out the total fuck up north of the border. That is a question. Jings. You say. I adore the poison dwarf.. Tehe. FFS your level of brains. When are you going to take up politics. By the way I will agree the NHS in Scotland is in a state. Because of the Union. Not Scotland on its own. It shows what fecking state your NHS is in. Which will be even worse when Scotland exits the Union

Well it does seem a bit odd, that if you are feeling unwell and decided you should self medicate, you couldn't ask your manager for a headache pill and have it logged. But on the other hand reading between the lines she was the one caught and took the fall as an example.
