Something else suspicious why aren't Labour milking this for all its worth?
Blimey Partygate we never heard the end of it, now the Tories are actually in real crisis Starmer and his sidekick Rayner aren't milking it.
If Labour aren't polls ahead now, they never will be, they've been handed the Golden Ticket.

But at the moment it is the Tories digging their own grave and sometimes saying nothing is better than saying something.

True, given Starmer and Rayners track record they could open their mouths and completely ruin their lead.

True, given Starmer and Rayners track record they could open their mouths and completely ruin their lead. At this stage I think that is almost impossible. People have factored in that Starmer is boring and they prefer that to higher mortgage repayments.

The only problem with the Conservative Party is that they dont really have any Conservative MP's...

That sounds like you saying "I don't really see what they have done wrong". I'd suggest that borrowing money to fund tax cuts is not a Conservative thing to do. The trouble that description itself, is a load of lefty, partisan codswallop. If it was just me saying that (and I don't really consider myself as much of a leftie) then maybe you'd have a point, but it was made by Tory MPs themselves.

It's clear the conservative party has a problem, our disagreement is over a valid description of the problem. Pacifico may have summed it up well, a few post above

Well the Tory party only has itself to blame for the witch hunt that went on in 2019 to expel so many senior members. It then recruited only shells who would parrot the party line. But now the party line has shifted, with no mandate, it isn't really surprising that it doesn't work.

Who's really running the country? As some guy claimed in a TV interview - it isn't the Governments, it's Goldman Sachs.

I actually posted this in our 'old' forum because I'm in-between at the moment so I'll continue it here, because the other one is allegedly closing tomorrow.
me quote "To be fair the markets are fickle if they can't handle a bit of turbulence, FFS they should be geared to handle instability, this is not only showing the Tories weakness but also weakness in the BoE, and most financial services. Eye opener"
me quote "It is jaw dropping the 'overreaction' to a budget, changes that weren't even going to happen immediately, I sense there is a underlining instability in the financial sector, the banks are jittery, this isn't based on a mini budget, this is the instability of the war in the Ukraine".
I strongly suspect if the war in Ukraine wasn't raging this overreaction would not have happened.
The world can not be held to ransom by the actions of ONE world leader, he's a small fish in a big pond, and let's treat him according.

Or perhaps we could do away with those tedious elections entirely and just get the BBC to choose the Prime Minister

I'm not moaning. I'm simply offering an opinion as to why she doesn't have the support of her MPs.

Something else suspicious why aren't Labour milking this for all its worth? As a result of all the gender neutral labelling, and a complete rejection of reality in favour of people's 'truths' they've gone past the point they can no longer define what a woman is to not being able to identify one at all, let alone find a tit.
