you can like slippery Andrews posts all you like squeezie. Like I said ,we have a guy who thinks he is paying less for his energy per month than the cost of inflation in a energy crises , and another guy who thinks having a wage freeze in a cost of living crises means he's better off. Jesus fucking wept. . You see, you're normally quite sensible... For a SNat.
But then, you are still a SNat.
And Andrew is still correct.

Cold hard facts, every single bill is rising, from energy, to food, to clothes, to council tax (will rise), car insurance, going out for a meal a drink, tv licence (will rise) the supermarkets have said prices will rise to offset the NI hikes, in fact every industry has said there will be price increase, these companies have to offset their tax hikes, and who can blame them.
If you work out all of that ^^^ people would need to see at least £200 a month wage increase to keep up with these ^^ price hikes, and if you aren't feeling the pinch just yet .... be assured you will do very soon.

I agree with the sentiment, but you are forgetting the 2.5 million new British labour supporters who are in 5 star hotels complete with saunas, mobile phones, dentists and fag money, they are not on housing benefit.
Apart from these new people, who as we see on television are praising Sir Keir Starmer, no one else with any cognitive ability remotely supports the lunatics in this Government. the odd care in the community posters on here demonstrates my point.
Perhaps Andrew is an Afghan tribesman staying in the Ritz, who knows.

How are people going to become 'better off in spite of the government'?
It's the government who calls the shots, are you suggesting we all wear masks and raid shops in order for us to become 'better off'?
You do talk utter bullshit, a single bloke in a bedsit like you are hardly representative of the UK.

Excusez-moi, but have I entered a parallel universe where formerly sensible posters are now talking shit? Of course it's possible to become better off despite the government. I've done it, Andy's done it. It's a fact. Andy's paid off his mortgage. He's better off, fact. And nothing to do with the current government. I've paid off various mortgages over the years, when it suited, and I am better off for it. Nothing to do with the current government. My bills are lower than last year. As are Andy's. Fact. And nothing to do with the current government. I retired from one job, took my pension and then started another job. I've just had a rise on both. I am better off than this time last year. Again, nothing to do with the current government. Fact. The government are not omnipotent. Another fact. Indeed, they actually have quite limited control. So do please stop being silly.

No point telling me, I'm a multimillionaire in my own right, I could just say ...... 'I'm alright Jack
But I don't, I employ a lot of staff who are clearly suffering financially.
I've run my own business for years.
NEVER before have my staff been so less well off, asking for advancements on their wages.
I now have to pay X Amount more on the NI tax hikes, I don't have to pass that hike on to 'customers' because I don't deal with the General Public.
I am actually subsidised by 'every successive government' ... need I say more.

I don't dispute that, but it doesn't contradict the point that I was making. I don't think that I would be posting as an employer that I don't think I'd admit to not paying my employees enough to live on. As a right winger, you shouldn't be advocating government support to employees, that's your responsibility.

Firstly, as a 'right winger' as you call me, No I'm a employer who wants to look after his employees, Once upon time it was Labour who was supposed to be the 'party of the working classes' ... WTF happened to them?
My work is specialised, I need specialised staff and that comes at a cost.

Your wage remains the same , while the cost of everything rises around you , ie you are worse off? ....and you have the cheek to imply we are not understanding you when you write vague gibberish like that?

You clearly don't understand that paying off debt, ie a mortgage, leaves one better off even at the same wage.
And that bills going down vs this time last year, leaves one better off even at the same wage.
It works the same in business: You can improve profitability by either selling more/charging more or by reducing costs.
Both Andy and I have reduced our costs vs this time last year.
I know you don't like it, but it's a fact.
