Dunno about that, Red. I'm not a Tory party member but I always preferred Sunak to Truss. Indeed, I see Sunak as the natural choice for PM. I agree though that getting rid of Boris was a massive mistake. And Boris was right in his comments about "The herd" - they all misread the situation ousted Boris through a misguided fear of guilt by association. From 80 seat majority to impending electoral disaster. Idiots. Ah Nigel. The forum one line wonder. I bet you had to go and have a rest after posting a two line wonder. In case it has not escaped your notice. The choice offered to the great unwashed was a choice of two disasters. Both out and out clowns unfit to be MPs far less hold the office of Prime Minister. That choice was death by a thousand cuts or sudden death. The English great unwashed chose a death by a thousands cuts. Which is now coming to fruition. The question that needs asking. How did the once mighty United Kingdom get into such a position that a choice was between two clowns. One thing is for sure. When Labour appointed Corbyn. They understood to late, the phrase beware, of unintended consequences. The fascist wankers in Westminster, like you will never learn. If you consider a 80 seat majority against Corbyn a triumph. Your idea of a triumph is shall we say in political terms, different from mine.

From 80 seat majority to impending electoral disaster. Idiots. I'm not suggesting Truss was 100% popular, but the fact remains the membership were given a vote and the majority voted for Truss, who was immediately sacked. The parliamentary conservative party couldn't risk another vote because they knew their man Sunak was not popular. So they appointed him. Back benchers and the 1922 committee have not shot themselves in the foot, they have shot themselves in both feet and both legs. She was fed utter shit as she attended the right wing fascist clans that advise Trump in America after she left the Libs Dems. She was designed to be a clueless disaster since then. And the reason she was voted. Is because the other was Indian. And that will never get through to you. You could have put a monkey with a blue rinse hair job and a blue jacket up for election. And they would have voted for that. This time it is a monkey in a red jacket, and white English and that is the way it is going.

...Back benchers and the 1922 committee have not shot themselves in the foot, they have shot themselves in both feet and both legs. No argument there. The Tories deserve to lose the next election. I'm just not sure that Labour deserve to win it.

Why keep voting for your own downfall, it is a sure sign of madness, constantly doing the same thing expecting a different outcome. I haven't voted for other than UKIP and the odd independent. In the case of UKIP it was in the EU elections. I also canvassed for them as I was ready to do with the Brexit Party until they pulled their candiidates to help the Tories up in the northern part of Lincolnshire. It was hard to forgive at the time and even harder in view of the crap that has transpired since. Because that is what the Westminster party and its followers do, constantly try and hoodwink you. But then luckily we both know that.

It would be simple if they had a clue instead of a poxy uni degree and not an ounce of commonsense or management skills. I've met more than mostand apart from maybe one or two, I weouldn't give them a job as cleaner or teaboy/girl.

I don't have wings but I do have my own ideas on politics, the main one being honest politicians. As my dad used to say, if you ever find a good politician, kill him befoire he goes bad. I wouldn't go that far but I'm still looking for a good politician.

You must have some idea of the area of politics that you find most agreeable, but you seem reluctant to name it.

You must have some idea of the area of politics that you find most agreeable, but you seem reluctant to name it. That sounds like you would have me compromise. Most politicians are dishonest when they get herded into the voting lobbies despite disagreeing with the issue at hand. I'm awaiting answers from MPs going back over a year in one case, ever fobbing me off with excuses for not coming up with an answer. Meanwhile I respond to posters on here, with little or no delay as do you and don't come up with the argument about their workload, they have an army of support; see if you can find footage of Sunak leaving the recent international meeting in Egypt with his aides, it looked like a full regimental march.
