Trump is working on a Sudetenland appeasement. Obviously Putin will agree as it's a stepping stone to full occupation. It's an absolute betrayal of Ukraine though. All it would do is cause more deaths. Our government needs to intervene and lay down the law. No appeasement. No violation of the Budapest Memorandum or the UN Charter. Invaders out or Ukraine get NATO membership and NATO remove the invaders. Return to the 1994 peace terms which Russia violated. If Trump won't agree, the USA will lose Menwith Hill spybase, Lakenheath, Fairford and other UK airbases. It will lose intelligence sharing and our military alliance. We have to be firm with that bastard. Otherwise a lot of innocent people will die. As I've said both on this forum and the other one, I perfectly understand that you mean well and want those being bullied to be defended from larger aggressors That is commendable IMHO there's never going to ba return to the 1994 peace terms which Russia violated with Trump in charge Labour are going to go along with everything Trump does, Lammy has already said as much, as others have pointed out on here. They are trying to find common ground with Trump if anything. |
