Any "ceasefire" in which Putin retains stolen land isn't peace, it's a stepping stone to re-armament and more attacks.
More people would die.
Invaders out or else Ukraine gets honourary NATO membership and Article 5 full NATO response. That's what my response would be. Back down and get out Mr Putin.
