Russia gives Nato a bit of stick and they go apeshit, but whilst they go apeshit they don't see the real attack. It is never ever talked about in these propaganda papers. The real attack is economic. It's not even really an attack, but rather the idea of build a better system so the old one withers away.
The US has a cast iron grip on dollar transactions and the international trade conducted in dollars. For one thing it knows every international transaction, so the knowledge advantage alone gives it an unfair advantage. See it like an island that is protected by so many guns it is impossible to penetrate. Rather than penetrate it, the real plan is to shrink it. Their island of dollar control will still be controlled by them, but how much it controls is a bit like being on that island and have global warming rise the sea level so they end up all fighting on a postage stamp.The dollar system has been used since Bretton Woods to suck out resources from the third world and stop them developing. If the third world no longer uses the dollar this will not be possible so the effect will be rising inflation. Raw materials like iron and copper will cost more dollars, so your tanks and all will cost more.
It's weird since on the one hand it serves the US military contractors to keep the war going, and that's why the US will not agree to peace talks, but it also gives BRICS time to build their system. It gives China a bit of a break as well, because the US can't fight two wars at once and so it had Taiwan pencilled in after Ukraine. By the time they have finished in Ukraine China will be so powerful in the military sense that they had better not go anywhere near it with their battle ships. I believe there is some point over in the Far Eastern seas where the Nato could mount a blockade to block Chinese commercial ships. This is China's weak point and it knows it. Without oil imports China would not be able to survive. The trade routes are its life support system, but I understand it needs cooperation from India to do it and India is more on the BRICS side now I think.
I do think the US does need to win Ukraine to survive, and i don't think it will. The thing is with international arms is they are very expensive if you just produce for your own defence. The first F35 would cost you hundreds of billions since you have to tool up the production line, research it all, but if you can produce a large number and sell them internationally then your unit production costs go right down, so it is important the US has a market for its weapons, e.g. the Saudis. You can see where this is leading. Dead Nato tanks on the battlefield are not a good sales advert, so again, it screws them. Either they are invincible or they are dead meat.

World war looks inevitable, there is no backing down, the west should take Putin at his word, and arm the Ukraine to the teeth, regardless of Putins threats. The only way to bring peace to Europe is to end Putin. Its all pretty simple really, in small worlds and very big worlds, you stand up to a bully.
