No, incorrect. When you claim asylum, at that point you become an asylum seeker. That fact is not impacted by whether you arrive by train, plane, boat or simply walk over the fields from Eire. The fact is impacted when they pay illegal people traffickers money, the moment money changes hands in a criminal act they no longer become Asylum seekers, they are illegal migrants, one day you might get it .... but I wont hold my breath. You just made that up and presented it as fact. Like you always do. I've already pointed out that how they arrive does not affect their ability to claim Asylum once they are on UK soil.

No they cannot, travelling in Schengen without a visa is illegal and can mean deportation, travelling without identification is illegal and can mean incarceration pending return certainly in France. What seems to happen is the EU and France ignore their own laws by not challenging illegal travellers. There is no right to travel, the right does not kick in until one claims asylum then such illegal activity is excused. Asylum seekers are not illegals, the are people seeking safety. FYI

Look idiot, once money changes hands with people traffickers they no longer are classified as 'Asylum seekers', they are illegal migrants.
We are still waiting for andrea to quote us any law that says migrants can pay people traffickers to enter a country illegally and claim Asylum.
Do you want to give him a hand?
So now you and andrea can show us what law surrounding Asylum states they can pay illegal people traffickers to enter a country and claim Asylum?
These two ^^ have gone quiet lol ... their Google must have froze. It takes a special kind of ignorant prick to keep posting the same old lefty woke bullshit that has been shot down more times than I can remember...

Asylum seekers are not illegals, the are people seeking safety. FYI Exactly, and Albanian gangsters illegally in our country are not asylum seekers.

So, if FS's claim was true, no-one would have been granted asylum in recent years. But yet many are. So therefore you must have realised that his claim wasn't true! 🤣

You just made that up and presented it as fact. Like you always do. I've already pointed out that how they arrive does not affect their ability to claim Asylum once they are on UK soil. That may be the case in law, however we are bound by laws and agreements made by our government (s) over the years which changed to meet the specific needs and circumstances existing, and expected to exist, at any one time. We have a new situation whereby vast numbers are arriving through breaking laws all across Europe and eventually into the UK without a specific need to do that other than a desire to claim in the country of their choice (not considered vital in the convention) and it is incumbent on our government to modify treaties and amend laws to counter this specific situation. It stands to reason that the more 'refugees' we allow the more family reunifications will be increased and the more people will desire to enter illegally to be with extended families. We have to deal with realities and the reality is that the numbers arriving are unsustainable now in terms of cost as it will partly be on the backs of some hypothermic pensioners who I am sure will appreciate the delicate niceties of national and international law that are being ridden roughshod over.

The reason that the cost is burdensome is because the assessments are not fit for purpose and we haven't been deporting those who fail.

The reason that the cost is burdensome is because the assessments are not fit for purpose and we haven't been deporting those who fail. The accurate assessments are expensive and deporting is even more expensive as regards legal challenges, Starmer will well remember how much it cost us to get rid of Abu Qtada as he trousered some of that cost to us. What is hindering us is law and treaties that are supposed to protect us all but in reality just allow large numbers of pretty undesirable people to live amongst over which we have no say whatsoever,

So, if FS's claim was true, no-one would have been granted asylum in recent years. But yet many are. So therefore you must have realised that his claim wasn't true! 🤣 The UK Government have decided not Prosecute those who have entered the UK for the fact if they decided to do so there would over 26,000 people with no proof of ID people that have crossed the Channel this year alone, the UK Courts are already backed up as it is they could not deal with the sheer volume, Court hearings are not cheap a bill the taxpayers has to pay, but they do Prosecute some. Overstayers that have entered the UK legally but have not left when they should have when found are given a choice, leave of your own volition and do not return for three years, and we will not Prosecute you, it saves taxpayers money and Court time. If you wanted to go to France for a weekend break you would not be able to do so unless you produced an acceptable form of ID to travel you would not even be allowed on the Ferry, Plane, or Train Wife is an Irish Citizen born in Ireland when we have travelled back to Ireland over the years even though there is an agreement with the UK going back years of freedom of movement we still have to provide ID to be allowed to do so. We now live in Ireland it taken lots of paperwork to register me as living here and obtain the Irish version of National Insurance Number, without it as far as the authorities are concerned I do exist I cannot access anything Bottom Line you enter the UK with no proof of ID, or Travel Documents you do so Unlawfully and can be Prosecuted
