For the past couple of decades immigration has been a huge issue. Prior to every general election since at least 2010 both the Tories and Labour said they would reduce immigration, yet immigration continues to rise. Jenrick didn't reduce immigration when he was immigration minister, so why should we believe him now? When it comes to immigration I'm sick of being lied to, so I'll stick with Reform UK, and I think millions of people will do the same.

Whatever happens in the next 5 years, Reform Uk will not be the governing party in 2029, simply because in our FPTP system its impossible to jump from 5 MPs to over 320 MPs, but it is possible for Reform UK to further increase their numbers in The House of Commons. Looking at where Reform UK came second, and did well, the very best they might do would be approaching 100 seats, and for this to happen I guess Labour would need to do a really bad job of government, fail to tackle the problems in our NHS, fail to deal with the immigration situation, and for growth to remain as bad as it has under the Tories, with little economic improvement. As for Kemi Badenoch and her political and social views, yes some of her views must be influenced by her Nigerian background, Christians are very orthodox in Nigeria, the Anglican Church opposes women preists, and in some Nigerian regions Homosexuality is punishable by death. Those on the Left who oppose Labour are mostly outside the party these days, people like Corbyn and Galloway, with only a small handful of MPs such as Abbot and Burgon. More so called fiddle logic...

...Mrs Badench is known for many things, in particular her hostile views on the LGBT community, something which comes naturally to so called "Christians" from Nigeria, or of Nigerian heritage... Could this be the same fiddles that so recently wrote: As a Labour Party supporter I do not "cheer lead for the Tories", but what I find very objectionable is the questioning of a leadership candidates ethnicity, colour or immigrant background.... Hypocrisy, much? Say it ain't so.

Reform uk dont need to win a majority of seats to be the kingmakers in Westminster , as we seen in the past. With the liberals , and even the ulster unionists. I repeat again sid , the idea though that the two party system is unassailable is a figment of your imagination. The snp , under fptp , for Scots seats at Westminster did exactly what labour thought couldnt be done , so why you think reform couldnt do it in england is beyond me. Reform are taking votes off labour , just as UKIP/brexit/tories took votes off labour in the old red wall seats . I mean you really dont ever learn your lessons do you sid? It's simply business as usual , eyes and ears closed , party propaganda and tunnel vision over the fptp two party stitch up. badenoch and Kendrick and starmer must have Farage laughing into his pint . on top of the millions of left wing voters who deserted the party post corbyn. Remember sid , you took half a million voters less than Corbin did on his worst electoral result in 2019 , when labour attempted to over turn the democratic brexit vote with starmer as his chief general , and three million votes less than corbyn took in 2017. 20% of the electorates vote appears to be starmers benchmark. you need to hope the other 80 % dont wake up and come together to annihilate you come next vote.

Before July no party who was just three years old had ever gained five MP's in one election. You will of course rubbish this but the fact is, and in-spite of FPTP, the rise of Reform UK is unprecedented in British politics and nothing will boost support for Reform UK more than five years of this minority appeasing pro EU socialist government. Jenrick will publicly rubbish Farage but he knows Farage is a very competent operator and I'll let you into an open secret, both Labour and the Tories will be dreading the local elections in May.

...As for Kemi Badenoch and her political and social views, yes some of her views must be influenced by her Nigerian background... So now you accept that background is relevant. You've certainly changed your tune, but well done on finally exercising some common sense. ...Christians are very orthodox in Nigeria, the Anglican Church opposes women preists, and in some Nigerian regions Homosexuality is punishable by death... As it is in many Muslim countries. So tell us: How do you feel about candidates from those backgrounds?

I oppose anyone who is hostile to LGBT people, but I am not a racist.
If large sections of the Nigerian population or Diaspora are anti-LGBT, then THEY have a problem, not me, and not gay people. I will oppose Kemi Badenoch because of her views, NOT because she is of Nigerian heritage.
Same with the attitudes of certain sections of the Pakistani community, and their outdated views on women, I oppose such views ( what some mistakenly refer to as "Muslim grooming gangs" ), its far too dangerous to start condemning either the entire Muslim population, or to be nearer to the truth, the entire population of those with Pakistani heritage.

The new Conservative leader will either be Robert Jenrick or Kemi Badenoch, and the Lib Dems in particular are rubbing their hands with glee. Some observers have likened the situation as "an early Christmas present" for Labour and the Lib Dems, both are on the Right wing of the party with some very contoversial views, so much so that the TRG Tory Reform Group have refused to endorse either of the candidates, with many moderates threataning to tear up their voting papers. According to most commentaters, Kemi Badenoch is the favourite amongst Tory Party members, but NOT amongst most Tory Party voters, for whom James Cleverly was the favourite. Mrs Badench is known for many things, in particular her hostile views on the LGBT community, something which comes naturally to so called "Christians" from Nigeria, or of Nigerian heritage. Even many Conservatives have likened the situation as the begining of the fall of Rome, one thing is now absolutely certain, the Tory civil war will get much worse, and with Reform UK on the sidelines, will there be a split, wil the Tory Party survive in its current form. You can almost smell the desperation from Labour here ^. Badenoch will slaughter Starmer in PMQs and will be the first Tory leader since Thatcher to actually be conservative.

Labour don't want Badenoch because they can't play the racist card, she can do what White leaders can't do for fear of being branded racists, and not ponder to black people, she doesn't suffer fools gladly whether they are black white or yellow, Labour do not want her as leader of the Tory party, and for that reason I do.
