By the time they apply for the pension credit it will take at least two months, by which time they'll be a block of ice, which is what the government are hoping for, get rid of the surplus population.

Many pensioners who were entitled to Pension Credits, have now applied for it, meaning that not only will they get a top up to their pension EVERY MONTH but they will also get the WFA. Looks like a win win to me. Don't you read the news .... well no you don't ..
By the time they apply for the pension credit it will take at least two months, by which time they'll be a block of ice, which is what the government are hoping for, get rid of the surplus population.
IF it takes two months it will be a nice Christmas present. |

IF it takes two months it will be a nice Christmas present. And in the meantime Rachel Granny freezer and other labour MPs continue to claim heating allowance (£4400 over past 5 years for her - Liam byrne c.£18000, Qureshi c.12000 , Shah c.10000, Rayner 5000) |

Only a sick mind would say it would be a nice Christmas present for pensioners if they got their winter fuel allowance reinstated, something that should never have been taken away in the first place, and they should be 'thank the Labour party' ... I'll tell you something, I bet if the Tories had won the GE it would never have crossed their minds to stop winter fuel payments for pensioners, now you wash your mouth out, and get a moral backbone and stop defending the indefensible. |
