Paxman was the master. He went hammer and tongs at everyone, an equal opportunities guy in terms of giving his guests a hard time. If you saw him grilling a Tory you'd be convinced he had an anti-Tory bias, until you saw him do exactly the same to Labour the next night.
Bias in those less impartial than he often manifests in more frequent interruptions of some than others, more attempts to shut down a point being made from some than others, a harder time given to some than others. This is where the likes of Kuhhsberg reveal their bias where Paxman didn't.
Paxman once described his approach to interviewing politicians. And it was to assume that all of them regardless of party were lying bastards and it was his job to expose that. He conducted his interviews much like courtroom prosecutions. It was an excessively confrontational style which resulted in politicians being less forthcoming and more prone to sticking to the party line, and more frequently no one being available at all. So it was not always a helpful and productive style. But it was at least unbiased in his case.

She's NEUTRAL. Far lefties don't seem to like neutrality. Someone who is neutral sticks it to both sides. Remoaners took a broadside because they were about as democratic as Pol Pot. And they didn't like the criticism. She isn't. She has long since had an obvious anti-left and pro-Tory bias, which is often mistaken for neutrality by those who share in it.

Yes, he was a good journalist and interviewer how it should be, you could not tell which political party he supported because he roasted them all in the same ruthless manner, which in the days of the BBC when they had a tad of moral fiber and no clear bias towards any one party, we can see how things have changed.
Kuenssberg lefty
Bruce lefty
Maitlis lefty
Munchetty lefty
How do we know they swing to the left?
Because they are poor journalists, we should not be able to tell the political preference, but we can because they are poor at what they do.
BTW you can also add Susanna Reid to that ^^ list.

No idea about Susanna Reid but your assertions about the others are not entirely accurate. Munchetty is a possible left leaner, and Maitlis maybe. But Bruce and Kuhnsberg are definitely on the right. You seem to be labouring under the simplistic assumption that anyone not fully on your side in all things must be biased.

Anti far left anti far right is centrism. Get over it. Anti left is not the same as anti-far left. She is definitely anti-left. And being biased towards the centre anyway is not the same thing as impartiality. Otherwise singing the praises of Blair would be the epitome of impartiality and we all know that would be a nonsense.

It's strange how GMB aren't making a meal of the cuts to pensioners winter fuel allowance, if this had been a Tory policy Reid/Balls would be ripping them to pieces .... Oh hang about Ed Balls is married to lefty Yvette Cooper Secretary of State for the Home Department, I was wondering how lefty MPs on GMB are getting a easy ride ..... LOL

It was a bit of a farce for GMB to have Ed Balls interviewing his own wife - who thought that a good idea.

Centre left and far left are not the same. Corbyn is a far left Hamas and Hezbollah befriending lunatic. He also advocated creating a state owned telecoms and internet service provider. That's without going into his weird let Starmer do whatever he wants Brexit policy. Laura is a great reporter. BBC needs more like her.

Kuenssberg like Fiona Bruce can't help themselves, and anyone who says the BBC is not bias needs their heads testing.
Kemi Badenoch in tense clash with BBC's Laura Kuenssberg over Muslim immigration Kemi Badenoch is one of four contenders aiming to replace Rishi Sunak as Tory Party leader in November.
Yet again another BBC enabler can't wait to brand Kemi racist, they just come unstuck when she happens to be Black, she has every right as a Tory leader candidate to speak her mind without being branded a Muslim hater.
As a Labour supporter and voter, I can categorically tell you without hesitation that during the Corbyn years the BBC was much lambasted and criticised by the far Left. But more importantly was the NUMBER 1 target for those of the far Left, the Corbynites, the Momentum types and hard line Socialists, their most hated figure within the BBC was / and still is Laura Kunessberg. Laura Kunessberg has been called a "Tory" and "Right Wing" more than any other BBC journalist, and that is an indisputable fact. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My own view ... I have never, ever seen any evidence that either Laura Kunessberg or our BBC is biased, and whats more, I know that it is actually impossible, because the BBC is NOT operated as one organisation, it is a an assortment of different semi-independent departments headed by different people, and headed by a former member of the Conservative Party who is a personal friend of Boris Johnson. The only openly biased TV news channel in the UK is GB News

That’s the problem with interviewers on TV and media now . They don’t want to find the truth , they want to nail the politician in front of them. They want to make a career for themselves and bashing politicians is mightily popular. It is on here just as it is everywhere else. It is virtually impossible to find anyone agreeing with you if you actually support a politician and have something positive to say. They will immediately look up the shitmongers express to find the dirtiest piece of dirt on said person, and even it it is a bold-faced lie, which it nearly always is.
Physicalists call it entrainment. Over time the proles gradually become entrained with the signal broadcast from the BBC and their agents. Hate Weeks are the new craze.

LOL I never watch GMB so cannot comment on it. Kuhnsberg and Bruce are definite Tories though. But every TV person will have an opinion. What matters is whether or not they do their job impartially regardless of their own opinions. Kuhnsberg and Bruce have at times failed dismally in this
