The only one dressing anything up here is you. I am simply stating what actually happened and what was actually said as a quick check on iplayer will confirm . If you really believe what you say above about Fiona Bruce then you must consider the Green Party to be right wing because she had Carla Denyer squirming over the Green ‘s immigration policy during the same discussion. It isn't the Green's who are the government, so Bruce should have been directing the question and pressing for answers on the Labour minister who is in power and the only one on the panel who should know what Labour policy on illegal boat people is, and what they intend to do about it as a 'serving' government, what is the point of pressing Carla Denyer or Yusaf on what they intent to do about the illegal boat people when they are not in power. |

Of all the contributors around the table on last Thursdays QT, it was Reform UK's representative who had the least idea, no answers and only ridiculous solutions to problems.
He said ( and I quote ) that "the Royal Navy could take the boats back and place them back onto French beaches"
What an idiot, and THATS the Reform UK answer to this problem
He said this without any idea of what the French authorities or government would feel about such a plan which would involve British vessels entering French territorial waters, then landing migrants who are neither French or British onto French soil.
Boris Johnson tried to stop the boats, as did Rishi Sunak, and if it was as simple as what Reform UK will have you believe, then why did not the Conservative government do it. ?
The new government are going to try a different approach, by tying together different agencies, including British Inteligence and Interpol, and track down and stop the human traffikers with a new agency "Border Security Command", which is currently been set up.
THe only conclusion that anyone can draw from looking at the whole situation, is that Reform UK have no credible, sensible or legal answers to this problem.

Don't be daft even Happyjack admitted that Carla Denyer from the Green party 'squirmed' stuttered and stammered unable to tell us how to deal with the illegal boat people, hence the question was tackling the 'illegal boat people' which Denyer avoided to answer instead diverting to immigration in general.

Three members of the audience raised their hands with the question relating to Reform, regardless of whether the question was how many voted Reform or how many support Reform, unless you are suggesting that there were more Reform in the audience they were either deaf or didn't understand the question. I gave you the benef of the doubt earlier that you misunderstood. I explained that she asked who voted Reform WHO WANTED TO SPEAK not "who voted Reform". Misquoting is one thing; that is easily done and I am sure that we all mistakenly do that from time to time. Wilfully and repeatedly misrepresenting what happened and what was said and creating false circumstances and dialogue to unfairly attack someone is something quite different - and also quite baffling when the facts can be so easily checked.
