I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, let alone on the Country. I feel the same about this government. Judge Labour in 5 years time, at least by then you should be better informed. No, I'll judge them on their past record, which has always been dire, and their recent actions which indicate that this time won't be any different. This government has no past record to speak of. New Labour were very successful which is why the full 'Black Legend' approach has been launched against them by Tory propagandists, PMs. MPs and the easily led, such as yourself. The truth is, as in your approach to New Labour, you are just not politically honest enough to give credit where it is due. |

They've already done more than enough damage and expounded enough barefaced lies in their first three months to judge them now as being even worse than first thought possible Who knew that Sir Kneeler doesn't even buy his own underpants in M&S like normal people but has a mate buy them for him , has ''work'' clothes bought for him ( tax law usually ensures that ''work'' clothes must have an external label detailing that they are ''work'' clothes to be tax deductible) and has accepted three times as much freebies than his nearest freebie rival ( also a Labour MP) , who knew that whilst Prince William ''slums it'' in Aston Villa's stands , Sir Kneeler has for years , been accepting many tens of thousands of pounds of hospitality tickets and private boxes from Arsenal (and others) even while leader of the opposition ? (They've even started giving away our strategic overseas territories and we will have to pay hundreds of millions annually of taxpayers' money to continue to use our military base there ) |

New Labour with the War criminal and one eyed history teacher in charge was an absolute disaster - the highly successful pension industry was destroyed by their politics of envy , an illegal war was held , ''our'' gold stock was deliberately sold off at the lowest possible price , Lloyds bank was decimated in a hamfisted attempt to deal with a UK economic crisis, benefit scroungers were given handout rises to equal and exceed gross salary levels scroungers could only previously have dreamed of and resulting in them never wanting to ever work again. Maybe they wrote polite thank you notes to journalists who had given them soft interviews ? They might have been one of their rare successes? |

What outlook do they have, policies they advocate and actions they have taken that makes them RW? So far you have mentioned and warned about the threat of Rightists and referred to history and the opinion of others but you seem singularly unwilling to name one, let alone several, polic(y)(ies)that make anyone you so label as RW. I can at least refer to LW policies advocated by many you call Rightists but all that seems to matter is that you say it is therefore it is so. I may give up soon. |
