Putin can't afford to lose this pointless war. It was provoked by the EU (because of Van der Leyen's complete ignorance of foreign policy) and they broke their promises not to expand the spread of NATO. Now Finland and Sweden have joined NATO and the EU are talking about letting Ukraine into the EU and NATO. And British tanks are on Russiam territory and American missiles have been used against Russia. This is crazy. Putin is a mad man and he has said that he won't draw the line at using nuclear weapons. He won't use them on Europe or the USA but he will use them against Ukraine if he needs to. And where's the EU in this mess? No sign of them whatsoever. No strong leadership. We need Trump back - as Tinculin said this war would never have happened if Trump had been president. I'm sure they'll be handing young British lads to Ukraine soon. The EU must be laughing. |

Huge fire, entire bomb dump destroyed with lots of glide bombs and also bombers destroyed. The Ukrainians also keep hitting oil refineries. Putin is so desperate he's sending untrained conscripts to their deaths.
It's time for Russia to get rid of him and end this pointless war.

Russia is like a beached whale with all its assets on show and vulnerable, its as if they never expected any blow back. Ukraine attacks with impunity. The first attack on kiev was based on the worlds fear of Russia, that all would collapse in the facee of Ivan, not so. Underneath all the bluster is a tin pot rusted pile of junk.
The Ukrainians now have a mission to deestroy Russia, the oppurtunity is there, it must not stop,
for all our sakes, surely the west know this. We cannot afford a rearmed Russia still hell bent on being silly, childish.

Destroying the ability of Putin to wage war, is defending Ukraine.
And when Putin cannot wage war, he will have to resort to diplomacy as he won't have any other option left.
The man is a bully, the way to negotiate with a bully is to punch him hard enough on the nose that he doesn't bully you again, ever.

Theres more to it than a british perspective, the baltics, Germany, Moldova, Romania etc live in constant fear, even in peace time, the fear the germans have is reflected in how they took the knee to Russia in the early days. Finland, Sweden etc crap their pants over Russia, and rightly so. Even Germany now regards Russia as an enemy.
Regardless of what Nato wants, the wests perspective, the above will be talking among themselves.
That if the Ukraine dont finish the job, they will.
Dont reflect it back, that its the wests fauilt for opposing, Russia is a mad dog that needs killing. Like Japan after ww2. Britain does not have a border with Russia.....and lives under the threat.

This is my perspective: Putin is doing this.  Bombed a children's hospital. Destroy that bastard's means to ever do something like this again. Defeat his army. Get Russia to turn on him and hold a revolution. Once Russia kill him, invite the replacement to reform Russia back into a democracy and remove the sanctions when Russia returns to democracy. |

And now he's vulnerable.
It's very possible that Putin can be overthrown and killed at any time.
Oligarchs are coming out against the war.
Putin is looking very weak right now.

The UK has left itself utterly defenceless by handing over its remaining hardware to Ukraine after previous governments trashed the military, which went against their primary objectives. The reality is that the UK is weak and is relying on heated propaganda. I don't think cardboard cutouts will work again.

We still have hundreds of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery systems including guided missiles, a Navy, an air force and nukes. We're an ISLAND nation.
Meanwhile Ukraine are kicking arse in Kursk and Putin is unable to counter attack. His micromanagement of the Russian military is making it inflexible, and unable to rapidly respond. He is going to lose this war, and then he will be killed.
He has surrounded himself with murderers.
They do not want to go down with him.
When the time comes they will turn on him just as he would turn on them. He has already murdered his former friend Prigozhin.
