Putin is losing this pointless war whether he can afford to lose or not, his defeat is inevitable.
It was provoked by him after years of appeasement and trying to win him over, by the EU and NATO (NATO Russia Council) and the UK.
All those years we let his oligarchs launder money here and even buy football teams after his assassins had actually killed people in our country on his orders.
Putin cannot use his nukes.
And Ukraine are now in a position to blow them up on the launchers with HIMARS if he were to get them out.
Besides, if Putin were going to use his nukes he'd already have done so.
What will happen, is revolution in Russia.
He will be ousted, tried, convicted and shot dead on live TV.
As for Trump, he's a puppet of Putin's who praised the invasion, who when he was last in power was giving away state secrets and appeasing like mad.
Man's so incompetent he bankrupted all seven of his casinos.

It baffles you. Putin has been forced to divert troops away from occupied Donbas. They're forced to fight without minefields and trenches and they are getting slaughtered.
The Ukrainians are being very effective and have taken more ground in a fortnight than Russia has taken in the last two years to August 2022.
Putin's thugs have been suffering logistics problems all over the place and they are starting to break.

You have to look at the news sources declaring NATO/CIA/Israel is on the verge of winning this war … and Putin is mad … rather than just following a sensible Kremlin defence strategy that protects it’s Navy’s access to the Mediterranean.

The Ukrainian advance into Russia (imo), is to force a change of narrative within Russia - because while you’ve got land occupied, you can’t be spewing propaganda of how mighty your military is, when it’s unable to uproot your enemies forces - and, it brings the war home to a lot more people & demonstrates that the war isn’t going entirely Russia’s way - we’re already on 900+ days of Russia’s 3 day war. Secondly, at the very least, it creates a buffer zone for Ukraine & means to uproot Ukraine, Russia will be shelling and striking its own towns and villages. |

It was provoked by the EU (because of Van der Leyen's complete ignorance of foreign policy) and they broke their promises not to expand the spread of NATO. Now Finland and Sweden have joined NATO and the EU are talking about letting Ukraine into the EU and NATO. And British tanks are on Russiam territory and American missiles have been used against Russia. This is crazy. Putin is a mad man and he has said that he won't draw the line at using nuclear weapons. He won't use them on Europe or the USA but he will use them against Ukraine if he needs to. And where's the EU in this mess? No sign of them whatsoever. No strong leadership. We need Trump back - as Tinculin said this war would never have happened if Trump had been president. Firstly, they’re not British and American tanks. We gave them to Ukraine, they’re Ukrainian tanks now. When some terrorist attacks with an AK-47, people don’t scream they’re being invaded by Russia. Britain and the U.S. are no more attacking Russia than such a person with a Russian made weapon used it in any other foreign conflict. Secondly, NATO is a defensive alliance, a defensive alliance created in the face of the fear of Russian aggression. Its purpose is that European nations feared the invasion of their comparatively smaller states by a much larger neighbour in the concept of “united we stand, divided we fall”. Time after time, we’ve seen this fear be proven to be very real. Continued Russian rhetoric and invasion of neighbor states creates the need for NATO, not the other way around. If Russia didn’t want people joining NATO, then it should not use intimidation, threats and imperialist invasion of other sovereign states to expand its influence and borders. Being upset that Finland asked for help and to join NATO, is like blaming a rape victim for going to hide behind the police as she watches her attacker rape another nation (Ukraine), and feels threatened.that they could again be a victim of their attacker. The Finns are literally watching their nightmare play out, only they’re fortunate enough to not be the victims - it’s someone else. The Finnish have a duty to ensure security & Russians invasion of Ukraine is a wake up call to all of Europe to stop sleeping and start taking this threat seriously, or you could be next. Lastly, I agree weak leadership has led to this mess. Europe has reduced its military so much, we’re entirely dependent upon the USA for aid, and I agree with Trump - members should contribute, because being allies means you work together, not exploit a member and let them do all the heavy lifting. Europe needs to get serious with its military and make it extremely clear, not only can we defend ourselves against Russia (without the USA), but we absolutely will, should so much as a single Russian boot cross into a member state. The Kremlin are led by bullies and bullies will only respect force, something we need to be unafraid to show. |

Research has shown that if you are attacked in the street by a thug, the oucome is worse if you dont fight back, its the same politically, all of Russias words are about bullying, and by god, it frightens people , and to be honest they are good at it. To reply in kind, have an able military lessens war. Psychologically the west loses. The money not spent on the military goes on domestic nonsense, we are being destroyed from within.
Ably aided by Labour etc, and all that undermining of all that which is good.

Ukraine now has the most powerful military in Russia. They've hit more airfields, destroyed glide bombs and bombers, destroyed more oil refineries and destroyed more air defence systems.
Russia cannot win this war.
Two years and Putin will be gone.
