It's absolutely incredible. The facts are obvious. The police tried to arrest these two muslim thugs after an altercation in an airport coffee shop and they went berserk and attacked the police. They then called in the armed police.so there are two incidents which need to be handled separately. The first incident is clear and it was a violent assault on the police causing actual bodily harm. This should attract a custodial sentence (up to 10 years IIRC). The second incident is a further attack on the police which should result in an additional sentence. There's also the matter of the police using "excessive force" which is more contentious. I can understand some delay in prosecuting this incident, but it's about 4 weeks now. It is not unusual for people to be on Bail for several weeks or even several months or longer, the reason being it gives the Police time to gather all the evidence they can, from the victims, witnesses if any, CCTV, Body Cams, Medical Reports of the victims, what the accused said when interviewed under caution which all has to be transcribed and copies of the Video Tapes. Once that is accomplished the entire Police Case Papers are presented to the CPS who will then evaluate them how strong is the evidence any weakness that a Defence Team can exploit, if there are avenues that have not been explored then the Police will be tasked with investigating them as well. Once all complete then the CPS will decide if the evidence is strong enough to secure a conviction or convictions, then the Police will be told what to charge or charges they should use, once charged then Bail them to attend Court. If the CPS tell the Police to kick them into touch , then the CPS will have to give the Police Officers injured a full explanation as to why

The Police passed the results of their investigation onto the CPS in August - they seem to be sitting on it waiting for the outcome of the complaint against the Police.

It is working north of the border, the jock polis have said that they have submitted sufficient evidence of criminality but it is being sat on with no action being taken, it looks like the same thing here.
Only difference is that Reform are in the wings ready to launch a private prosecution, I will put a tenner in the kitty if asked.

Cant help noticing the Muslim scumbags who beat up those police officers at Manchester airport sill haven't been charged with anything. As far as I can tell, back in August the police sent a file to the CPS, since then nothing. I suspect the authorities, all of them, the police, IOPC, CPS and the Home Office are all hoping this is quietly forgotten about. Why? Well as we have seen so many times previously minorities in this country seem to be above the law. I have no doubt that Farage announcing that Reform UK will take out a private prosecution if the CPS fail to act has annoyed the minority appeasing authorities.

Come on RR ,you know the IOPC and the CPS have been very busy of late trying to hang one of their own out to dry over the shooting of violent criminal . When they have licked their wounds over that failure they will get down to finding a minor charge like disturbing the peace to throw at the Pakistani lads resulting in a suspended sentence .The officers involved will be warned of their future conduct and sent for retraining .

I'll be surprised if the CPS charge the violent Pakistanis with anything, although I accept Farage's intervention has made things a tad awkward and may focus minds. As far as I'm aware two police officers are still under criminal investigation, had it not been for the publicity this case has created my guess is they would have been dismissed by now, with the blessing of the authorities.

It matters not what the Police may or may not think they have no say in who is charged or is not charged and what charges are appropriate , the CPS make that decision based on the evidence they have been presented with by the Police. I have no idea if this has been referred to the IOPC why would they get involved unless someone or the suspects have made an official complaint to them about the Officers involved, as for the Home Office or the Home Sec why would they get involved, Police Officers and other Emergency Workers are attacked everyday of the week 24/7 The Police Federation will be supporting the Officers who were injured and monitoring what happens IMHO, if the CPS says no further action against these arseholes the Police and the Police Federation will want a full explanation as to why. If that does happen I really do hope Reform does go for a Private Prosecution if its possible

Indeed the police were far more concerned about finding out who leaked the CCTV footage to the media, and stringing up their own officers who had been violently assaulted. Everyone in the country knows damned well that if the assailants had been white and English they would have been arrested, charged, fast tracked through the courts and within a few days of the attack they would have been tucked up in Strangeways for ten years apiece. Thank god for Farage, I sincerely hope he forces the CPS to get off their minority appeasing arses and do the right thing.

I do know that the CPS cannot do anything until the Police present the Evidence they have to the CPS which has been the case since 1980 when the PACE Act was brought in, I used to do just that week in week out for years Is the Police Investigation still on going ? I don't know do you? IMO it should have been finished long ago its not a complicated investigation, has their file been sent to the CPS ? it should have been some time ago I don't know, do you ? if it has has the CPS made a decision yet it appears not ? I don't know do you? If as and when they are charged they will sent to the Magistrates Court as soon as possible, they maybe dealt with by the Magistrate that day unless the Magistrate thinks it should be dealt with by the Crown Court, if they are charged they will be on Bail

When the shit first hit the fan after the CPD were first critised.. Indeed I remember , however it is possible the CPS may have seen a weakness in the Police Investigation and asked the Police to strengthen it up which often happens, even if that is the case it should have been done by now
