All I’ll say is a moderators lot is like a coppers lot in the present situation not a happy one. A forum is like a pub,it has its regulars if you don’t like the atmosphere you can complain to the landlord find another pub or open your own. N'ah, that just lets the regulars bask in their fascism and racism unopposed, and they'll start to think it is OK to be such; British Culture is built on standing up to fascists and racists. So I'll do that, and the moment I see a post that goes properly over the line I'll know there is no point informing the Mods here, as they are enablers of it, I'll just go straight to Pro-Boards and the Police as any law-abiding British Citizen would. All The Best No actually Brit culture is about freedom of speech for both left and right and all stations in between and until that is proscribed it is not illegal. Why is pointing out Tommy Robinson is a **** ok but saying that attempts to legitimise the misogyny and Muslim extremism racist? |

It has always had the limitation of law - libel and incitement for example; and the more people push against that limitation the more it becomes necessary to enforce it. I believe in Freedom Of Speech. I also believe in the Rule Of Law. I also believe that we as individuals are responsible for the consequences of our actions. I'd need context for the "Tommy Robinson is a ****" - because depending on what that "****" represents it could just be a matter of opinion (twat for example), or it could be libellous (pedo for example). I have long argued that both Sharia and Beth Din Courts should be outlawed, because BOTH treat the testimony and / or rights of a woman as of less value than the testimony of a man. However, because I include Beth Din courts in that I have been accused of Anti-Semitism. Jewish Orthodox and Islamic schools in the UK both teach that non-believers are of less moral and legal worth, and that women have less legal protections than men. Again, because I dare criticise Judaism I have been labelled an Anti-Semite. I think Courts and Schools should be places where religion has no place. Faith is a personal choice, nothing more. Schools that teach from a religious point of view should have their exams removed from the UCAS Points System. Courts that can deliver verdicts illegal in UK law should be shut down - permanently. For years many people have been predicting that mass immigration will at some point cause mass civil unrest, and Starmer is making a bad situation worse. |
