Whichever party aligns most with the views of people questioning the legitimacy of Labour's vote share got a smaller still percentage. I wasn’t questioning from a party political point of view but purely that voter turnout is falling a landslide is anything but and that Westminster is living in a world of its own ignoring people which is why that turnout is falling. That you cannot see that is your problem or that Westminster needs an overhaul not least the HoL And for your information I was once a long term labour voter till I came to my senses. Shhh now, logic has no place when debating with post-truth loons. All The Best If that’s all you’ve got in reply to debate is calling opposing views are those of loons then I suggest a look in the mirror might enlighten who is behaving like a loon and relying on insult. None of that challenges what I said. If Labour is not representative of the people because of their small vote percentage, logically every other party is even less representative of the people.

You missed all the insults that have been thrown at PV and myself? What was that you were saying about Specsavers? Have I insulted you or PV ? That’ll be a no,I rest my case.

Correct and why we need an overhaul and a new voting system. I've been saying for a long time we are trying to navigate the 21st century with a 19th century system. But I also recognise that under the current system which all parties agreed to compete in Labour were clear winners and are the legitimate governing party.

Farage should stand up and call for no mandate starmer to resign , he would fucking hate that. saw this also earlier.... Kier Starmer saw a little old lady struggling with two heavy bags of shopping .
" You should not be struggling with those two bags of shopping , let me help you ."he said .
So he halved her pension so that she could only afford one bag in future

For goodness sake I have no issue with Labour forming the government and I realistically have no issue with FPTP and have never complained about it. All I am saying is that a party that forms a strong government in parliament with such a low level of actual support would do well to take cognizance of which policies would be uppermost in the minds of the public. It is not as if those polices are not the same as what Labour also had as policies but with different methods. Immigration was stated by Labour to be too high, the small boats crossings were stated by Labour as needing to be stopped. The policies enacted to date have thrown another 100,000 straight onto the UK and immigration is reckoned to increase before it comes down. They had a honeymoon period to get it right and managed to get it spectacularly wrong and the flashpoint came earlier than expected but people see the Labour writing on the wall and want none of it. The Tories had 14 years to sort this out and didn't but you're angry at Labour for not sorting it out in 4 weeks? As the clear winner of the GE Labour should be focusing on delivering the winning manifesto. The Tories had 14 years to sort this out and didn't but you're angry at Labour for not sorting it out in 4 weeks?
Why not? Labour have made some 10 million UK pensioners both poorer and colder within 3 weeks of being elected

I post to my own standards and usually reply to those who resort to insults with a pleasantry, everybody has their own style I have mine. I am here to express my opinions not police or pull up others as you describe unless I am directly involved.

You miss the point, the actions they have taken will not only not sort the problems out but will add to the problems in a short space of time. That was part of their winning manifesto and people have had enough of jam tomorrow and recall Labour blocking as many Tory initiatives to gain some form of control. So eyes have been opened that were partially clouded with hope an that hope has been dispelled.

I'd be delighted to see an overhaul of our political system happening yesterday.

I was just reading there southport is a labour heartland , where the local labour mps took 38 % of the vote. Whats he been saying in all this? Or has he never been to southport before let alone met any of his constituents?

I don't recall them committing to have it all sorted in 4 weeks in their manifesto either.

So what are you gibbering about? both of us have previously voted labour. ive been on forums with wapentake as far back as 2009 , in the dying days of the brown government , and both he and I have long criticised Blair and brown and new labour and the wider fptp system . That doesn't make us right wingers though. do try and think outside your little two party box dear.
