There is a simple solution which may or may not be obvious to some of the armchair pundits posting in here. It's pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain. if you want to avoid being the victim of police brutality, just behave.

Violence is not going be tolerated there and more likely to be reciprocated ie nipped in the bud . The ones whining about police brutality would be the first to hide behind the police if serious stuff kicked off there.

I know from my football supporting days when the crowds were chanting and the police piled in, did they take the older foul mouthed Glaswegians never, it was always the soft targets like teenage boys. Where is the film of the WPCs being attacked it should be on CCTV. 4 have been arrested and the two that were assaulted have a brother in in the police. Race should not come into this as I say police officer should not act as vigilantes they must use reasonable force and neither of these chaps were resisting arrest. Police officers should not act as judge and jury it is for the courts to do that and for all we know they might have the wrong chaps.

Do you have a link to this "abscess on the brain" report please? It was on Granada news Then you'll be able to explain how an abscess, which is an infection, was caused by a kick in the head. Otherwise, I'll take it you misheard or misunderstood, or are deliberately troublemaking, as you clearly are anti-police.

His ethnicity is wholly irrelevant. The ONLY thing that matters to determine if the use of such force was warranted was "did he pose an immediate risk to the police and public". Given he was face down on the ground and already cuffed (so unless he was some kind of super gymnast was unlikely to be able to get back up) I find it hard to believe that the IPCC will conclude that level of violence was in any way justifiable. All The Best Seeing as you were there and know every single detail as to what took place we'll just take your word for it. All the best!! I don't know every single detail. I do know, from experience in a training situation, that with your hands cuffed behind your back and laying face down on the ground, it is almost impossible to get back up again. A person so restrained poses no real risk to the public or police. Unless you have reasonable grounds t believe they have some, concealed, manner to detonate a concealed IED. If armed police had any reason to suspect that was the case they should have double-tapped him in the head, and they would have been right to do so. All The Best

From BBC updated page: Mr Yakoob said the medical condition of the man who was kicked, who he named as Fahir Amaaz, had worsened overnight and "a CT scan has revealed there is a cyst on his brain". www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cnk4pp530eqo

A person so restrained... But the first question is: Was he? And, BTW, did you used to be a cop in Derbyshire perchance?
