The ONLY thing that matters to determine if the use of such force was warranted was "did he pose an immediate risk to the police and public".
Given he was face down on the ground and already cuffed (so unless he was some kind of super gymnast was unlikely to be able to get back up) I find it hard to believe that the IPCC will conclude that level of violence was in any way justifiable.

I've trawled this as well. The guy lying on the floor has his Mum trying to protect his head as the police officer tries to stamp on him. We were told this was a large case of affray yet only see two suspects..... are there more suspects being held or are we saying one with his Mum there decided to attack a number of WPCs. I think there is more to this and as one retired Superintendent said the officer doing the kicking should never have been an armed officer he is an accident waiting to happen. One retired Superintendent who, along with other pundits was not present so hasn't a clue as to what actually happened. |

The family and the ‘ ethnic group ‘ that they belong to as grabbed victimhood with both hands . They have rolled out an Asian lawyer to tell us that the ones who beat the police are not traumatised and afraid to go out ..ditto the families .
There are ‘ protesters ‘ on the streets. I suspect that they are going to loot some free stuff if the individual passes away .
Meanwhile any inquiry will take ages to make a conclusion ..one based on the fear of the consequences of upsetting the mob l
