The SNP are undaunted by their defeats, court cases, custodial sentences and electoral failures, we now read that all illegal immigrants in Scotland will receive free bus passes, this virtue signalling rubbish to indicate how much more caring and right on they are compared to the English bastards in Westminster.
How do our Scottish correspondents feel about subsidising this largesse?

How do our Scottish correspondents feel about subsidising this largesse? Well my golden rule is , the snp go up a notch in my estimation when they upset you ommy , so it can't all be bad. This was discussed though last October , so why are you screaming about it now? Are you looking for some diversions away from the mess in your own communist country under the labour government? I think I would be worried more about rejoining the EU than a few asylum seekers getting a bus pass . Meanwhile back in ommys capital city............. They get free or discounted travel if they meet any of the existing criteria for travel concessions (which are open to all) - they do not get any discounts for simply being an asylum seeker. |

They get free or discounted travel if they meet any of the existing criteria for travel concessions (which are open to all) - they do not get any discounts for simply being an asylum seeker. ok. My bad then. The Scottish government already give free bus travel to under 22 year olds ,the elderly , and discounts for those claiming benefits so giving a small amount of asylum seekers the same makes perfect sense. As you know , I dont agree with net zero , ULEZ and all the other cons on the public , but giving free travel to various groups makes perfect sense in the context of trying to reduce congestion and all the rest in big cities like Glasgow and elsewhere. It is joined up thinking , something that appears to be lacking badly south of the border. It's just another jumping on the outrage bus story from ommy ,pardon the pun , desperately disappointed that unionists could only garner 38% support from the Scottish electorate , and desperate to see the snp crushed . |

ok. It was a quick google , and I accept I may be wrong , but I doubt it. Joking aside. It makes sense for people claiming asylum to be given free travel , and if their claims are rejected , then all privileges taken away and deported. Trouble is dan , with BNP type nut jobs like you , frothing at the mouth because of someone's skin colour , we won't get a sensible conversation over dealing with immigration. Please remember immigration to scotland is a reserved matter , and the snp wouldn't have to deal with immigrants in the first place if your pathetic governments past and present hadn't flooded the uk with them . Ommy up the page , and moon howlers like yourself are simply moaning about sensible arrangements to deal with these people . As per usual , moaning about dealing with the symptoms , rather than dealing with the root cause. |
