Transport is a devolved matter. So rather than use money wisely on education, NHS, potholes, increasing GDP etc.., the SNP obviously feel giving illegal immigrants free bus rides priority. All I know is, the English receive less than the average and the Scottish receive more than the average. I just find these petty arguments don't pay my mortgage so I don't get involved. I would suggest anyone wanting specific taxation and Barnett payments, they should contact HMRC and the Treasury, I imagine they would have the evidence. Unfortunately I don't work for them, and if I did, I wouldn't be sharing government records on a forum. |

Build asylum processing centres on uninhabited Scottish islands with helipads.
Those who are successful get moved to a tented refugee camp outside Glencoe where all their human rights in accordance with the convention will be catered for.
Those who fail get moved to a tented immigration removal camp at Kinloss where they will wait under guard, for a plane to deport them back to their own countries. And eliminate the problem of devolution - abolish it. |

build them on Hastings beach in your own country . It's not as if enough haven't arrived by that route already. Then , it's a short walk off the dinghy to the processing centre , rather than paying their fare via helicopter to fly them 800 miles to the western islands. logistics isnt your strong point Vinny , I see , like much else. |

Your post on page two , 8 down was quite clear when you wrote this... when I ask you and your mate wassock with the bad breath can you show me where the "English" are paying for everything , he runs off telling me his life story and any other diversion he can think of , and you start backtracking , unable to prove the English pay for it all via Barnett , offer up a broken link , and start waffling about how the Barnett spending is higher in scotland ( which isnt the English paying for everything) simply because we Scots , who are really a very generous people , are paying more into the pot so get more out. back to you mate. if you cant prove the English are paying for everything as you originally implied , just say so , and we can dismiss it , as the latest piece of rubbish you have come out with. the Barnett Formula is almost universally despised among the politicians and people of the uk.
