The “whole point” seems to have been a bit of a moveable feast Fairsociety So where have we got to now. It seems to be that you expect people who have other religions (or presumably none) to not just respect your religions rules and conventions but OBEY them. You don’t want as you claimed all people to respect each other’s religions , you want everyone else to be be subservient to you. I presume that applies to a young lad, born here, every bit as British as you but who happens to have say muslim faith or people like me who have no faith at all. Well sorry mate I have signed up to follow my country’s laws but not the rules of a religion. If I choose to covet my neighbours ass, then coveting I will do. Not to such an extent that it bothers her or interferes with her enjoyment of her life - that wouldn’t be fair - but if I fancy a bit of surreptitious ass coveting, frankly it’s no one else’s business. And the same would apply if I was a recent Hindu immigrant. We’ve been here before. No one is forcing the UK to “drop “its “ - by which you mean your - religion”. Each example you have tried to give has proven to exist solely in your imagination - from crosses to schools to rebranding Easter to Harvest festival , all made up. The reality is however that increasing numbers of people are choosing not to be interested. I presume that’s allowed? Whilst we are loosly on the subject of appeasment I am amazed at the new time measure of CE or BCE. We have lived with and recognised BC and AD as perfectly adequate and definitive measures. Why was it changed unless to appease others as it was clear what was meant. If the measure had been before Mohammad or after Mohammad or Before Abraham or after Abraham and that was the accepted measure in use at the time I would not have objected. We were using Christ as the measure and BCE and CE have identical reference points as BC and AD. So nothing has changed except the wording which has to be explained to many people still using BC and AD. See tolerance is supposed to be what others have as well. |

People voted Conservative whilst the conservatives continually reassured people that they will tackle immigration numbers. They not only lied, they shamelessly increased them. You cannot vote this problem away. That window closed and our democracy is now totally corrupt. There appears to be a single purpose from all sides on mainstream politics, which is the intentional displacement of people and culture at any cost. Given the intention, and the fact that it completely goes against the elected mandate by the people, it could be classified as genocide, which is in direct contradiction to the UN.

Still waiting for dappy to explain how he thinks this demographic catastrophe will be averted. I suspect if any answer is ever forthcoming it will be along the lines of 'What does it matter anyway if the Other overtake the White British? They'll be British as we are'.

It seems according to these new census figs, black people make up just 4% of the population. If that's accurate, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, why is such a tiny minority so massively overrepresented in TV and media?

The mainstream TV companies including the BBC, ITV and C4 don't operate on a 'picking the best' basis; they select candidates to fill their self-imposed diversity quotas.

I used to live and work on the outskirts of London some twenty years ago. But back then I went on holiday to Australia. I had never ever been round so many white people.
Also, while over there I had to see a GP, this was the first time I'd encountered a white GP. He also had a British accent. I shit you not, I didn't even believe white British GP's even existed.

Hardly any advert doesn't feature a mixed race marriage and half-breeds of one kind or another. And almost no BBC panel doesn't feature at least one black - usually more. And I hear more and more black announcers who can't fucking pronounce English properly - dropping their t's, H's and the G on -ING. And even the new channels like Talk and GBN are guilty of this too. While people like JRM are openly mocked for speaking RP. It's a plague of dumbing down. |

Poor pronunciation is as you say particularly obvious with young black people in TV & media. Mrs R often hears me yelling " the word is going, not goin" as I listen to a young black person on the TV, who obviously got the job because he is black rather than his grasp of English pronunciation. Another popular one is 'yea', instead of yes, drives me up the wall. This sort of chav talk was always common parlance on the streets but sadly in recent years, with the advent of minority appeasing political correctness, semi-literate black people on BBC tv & radio, ITV, C4 etc, are the norm. As I have always said, standards have gone to ratshit because diversity is a race to the bottom. |
