im looking forward to reading the replies from the Labour Party cheerleaders on this site of the mess starmer leaves in his wake. Must be hard for old champagne socialists like Sid witch finder that labour won't be building any council houses , and streeting wants more privatisation of the English NHS and Jackie bailie of the Scottish branch to do the same in 2026. where do we think the first new PFI project will be sheepy? Don't worry about that, there will be plenty of investment opportunity the Tory branch left the international cartels awash with cash. Everyone else's of course. im not worried sheepy. As I said , I would hate to work in North Sea oil and gas , where starmer is telling everyone he wants to use Scottish oil and gas to set up a Labour Party wealth fund( no laughing please) , throw 100 000 people on the dole , and buy himself a nice pad in Hawaii with the proceeds close to barrack Obama. I think labour will fall so low after this election , that they will never rise again , and I honestly believe reform uk are going to sweep the uk parliament next election , such is the dismay , and lack of optimism regarding labour in every segment of society. |

If you can't back up a throw away comment claiming something is fake news , which you should easily be able to do , then why should we believe you on anything? you didnt . The snp were doing nothing in the Scottish Westminster seats , and still remain in government in scotland. you kicked the tories out , winning an undemocratic 64% of seats on 33.7 % of the vote. Glad ash worth got the boot , streeting nearly went , and starmer lost half his constituency vote. NEW: Rachel Reeves has announced that Labour will not spend public money on building houses.
This indicates that the party won't be building any new council houses, as that would require public spending. Corbyn promised to build 100,000 council homes per year (£75bn cost).
