Same thing happened in Liverpool with lefty Jo Anderson the mayor, he was dishing out tax payers money left right and center to private contractors then when they'd screwed the tax payers for all they could get they went BUST!!!
Hence the reason on the take anderson was immediately suspended and the corruption SFO was called in to investigate, now they have a total freehand we'll need more than the SFO to sort out the corruption.

Plenty of room to build in Scotland. Abolish devolution, reform planning laws, build 5 new Garden Cities. see the big brown bits Vinny. Thats called mountains .Its why Dumfries and galloway , a mountainous region the size of east anglia , has 100 000 people , and east Anglia has 7 million. Builders dont like the cost of building in these areas , not to mention the difficulty of infrastructure , and remoteness for human habitation. whereas the Scottish central belt is as densely populated as London and the south east. remember what we said earlier about posting without thinking. I bet you dont play strategic games like chess.

That's a great idea, give private developers the council house contracts, with huge tax payer funded government grants as in incentive, which will bring down the building cost so the developers make even more profit, once built flog them off to investors who can rent them out as exorbitant rents. Wait till the penny drops for those Labour voters, they'll be kicking themselves up and down Downing Street. you need to read it though fair. They aren't proposing price developers get council house contracts in England. They are hoping private developers build. the correct mix to appease labour. Its laughable.. Labour aren't addressing a housing crises by building affordable housing. They are merely making it easier for private builders to reap even more profit at house buyers expense. Expect an increase in shoddy housing , on dodgy new build estates , prone to severe flooding. I bet they get tax payer funded government grants to help fund the 'affordable' homes, and of course the private firms will be family/friends/colleagues who get the grants, it's got Labours finger prints all over it.

Like the Tories with PFI then, take it from me they will be looking at every opportunity to fill their own pockets, it's what they do. Even if it creates a minister for funny walks.

Absolutely, the only reason Labour were up in arms over the PFI contracts was because they didn't get them.

Even if it creates a minster for funny walks. the big problem though with labours PFI list time around wasn't just using private finance , its how fucking exceptionally badly they negotiated them. The Scottish futures trust renegotiated all of labours PFI contracts in Scotland , and managed to get a far better deal for the taxpayer than what labour did. Typically they halved the cost those labour bar stewards left , despite being unable to completely get out of the contracts , going from 5 times the capital cost to bringing them down to two in many cases.

Starmer did exactly the same with PPI voted for it and saw the spoils sent around the Tory ranks.

I see he was regurgitating his old id card scheme , or a variant of it twenty years on the other day , to solve the problem of mass uncontrolled immigration that he began in 2004.

He has to be the worst representative of the working class like ever. Which he doesn't even class himself as a member of anyway. He must have been the gift that cannot stop giving.

It did make me laugh, Blair has told Starmer he must get to grips with the illegal migrants. Thanks to Blair who opened the floodgates with no caps he has a damn cheek telling Starmer anything.
