Are you disappointed that Spain's victory over France last night removed the possibility of an over 80% (France vs Holland) or an over 2/3 (vs England) black participation in the Euros final. At 'best', if Holland win, blacks will 'only' be 50% otherwise 'just' a third if England make the final. No im not disappointed why you making it a coulourd thing . What do you think of Spain's lammi goal. 16yr old star in the making do you agree

No, not a 'coloured thing', a Euro versus a non-Euro thing. Doesn't it even create a slight concern for you that we have narrowly avoided a European final in which over 80% of the participants are not of European ancestry.

Dan Dare People are already sick with worry over the number of Chinese companies advertising, if they have to take on additional concerns about a lack of European ancestry, the tournament will drive them into an early grave But I don't think we can win on this one, too much European ancestry and certain MP's and Guardian readers will be shouting from the rooftops about 'hideously white !' ...... and before you know it, TV companies refusing to show the final because of the lack of diversity. The British public are used to it by now, just think how Strictly Come Dancing started off with heterosexual white couples ...... now it's stuffed to the gills with blacks, gays, disabled, dwarfs etc etc. Try watching Emmerdale ..... all the 'extras' in The Woolpack are either black or in a wheelchair .... but that's the Yorkshire countryside for you. Two mainly white teams, and we'd sit up and ask what the hell was going on and assume the TV set was faulty

What percentage of the players were born in Europe? When will you learn not to judge a man on the colour of his skin. This thread is a disgrace to the mindzone. This is not what Orac had in mind. Seriously Tinculin why do you let this sort of shit go on?

The Mind Zone, as I understand it, is intended for serious discussion of weighty topics not vacuous and sophomoric emotings.
The demographic transformation of Europe, as outlined in the work by Douglas Murray I cited earlier, is just such a topic and the 'diversification' of European football as set out here is simply a leading indicator of that transformation.
If you are unable to make that connection and lack the courage to speak out out about it then you deserve everything that's coming to you.

Seriously Tinculin why do you let this sort of shit go on? Unfortunately the judgement you want to be made is absent at all levels. The papers have been full of pride for black heritage players, a finger up against the 'racists' etc. If one does not judge on the colour of skin pride in black heritage players would not be an issue and a finger up against the racists would not be an issue. They would be England players full stop. The non-racists cannot have it both ways demanding people stop making it an issue whilst jumping on it as an issue with every positive thing that happens. Diversity was cheered on at the London Olympics to a nauseating degree and I hardly watched any of it.

I agree, and you're perfectly entitled to your views and opinions where it isn't compulsory for the totalitarian far-left to agree with them. I thought this was why they left to start up a totalitarian farm to agree with each other on. However, regarding the topic, I gave up on football when I reached adulthood. I didn't like the obsession some people had for the game, including a few in my own family. As you rightfully point out, it is basically meaningless and all about money and social indoctrination, which is why a few are intolerant of your own competitive views.

sandypine Oh yes they can, and they do! The 'Positive Discriminators' as I'd probably describe them, definitely DO insist on having their cake and eating it. You only have to think back to last month when the Media were hauled over the coals, by the collection of the usual voices demanding censorship . The crime that some newspapers and other Sports reporting outlets had committed, was to show a photo of a black footballer when reporting on a bad performance from the England team. The BBC used its usual corporate speak to indicate it wouldn't make such a mistake again ...... and I'd be surprised if the tabloids and the rest of the media haven't quickly fallen into line. It's a simple new rule that's demanded ..... Play poorly and lose = Absence of black faces in report. ..... Play well and win = Wall to wall diversity required in report. Here's how the BBC tip-toed through its article on the issue a month ago - link - Media Coverage Criticised For Use Of Saka Image In England Defeat

If a black player scores a hatrick and England win the tournament by three goals to nil, Dan will still sulk about it.

I remember very well 4 yrs ago yo today Dan lambasted Saka for missing his penalty in the 2020 final .
He said it was because he was Black and he had no pride for England.
