You seem to be saying that black players are crap. Ever heard of Pele?

Didn't he play for New York Cosmos?
But anyway, a diversity-enthusiast such as your goodself will have been unimpressed by the series of pale and stale 100%-Euro affairs like yesterday's Slovenia vs Serbia yawnfest and England's feeble half-hearted effort at showing how diversity is our greatest strength falling really flat but fear ye not!
The tournament is sure to be re-invigorated later today by the fixture between the Côte d'Ivoire et Senegal Sélection and the Surinam All-Stars. The two squads are overwhelmingly diverse with 32 players of colour between so we could see as many as 16 or 17 on the pitch at once.
Enjoy!

...And is it unhealthy that no British firms could be bothered to participate, especially since its main representatives are among the favourites? ... That aged quickly.

I was thinking how diverse the winning England team was in 1966. Humza Yusuf would have complained.

I believe if someone is one of the best players we have, their talent, not their colour matters.
See how we'd do if England didn't think that way? Anyone remember Mexico 86? Italia 90? Euro 96?

I believe if someone is one of the best players we have, their talent, not their colour matters. See how we'd do if England didn't think that way? Anyone remember Mexico 86? Italia 90? Euro 96? I didn't think England were that bad in 86, 90 or 96 even though the squads were hideously white. As the squads became more and more diverse England didn't reach another semi for 22 years.
But anyway, if you've had to sit through another drearily monochrome all-Euro affair today, it's hard to avoid thinking that if diversity is an asset to a football team then is it fair that almost 84% of the diversity at Euro 24 is monopolised by just six teams: France, Netherlands, England, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland? The other seventeen teams - Turkey excluded again - have to share the remaining 16%.
Isn't it about time that EUFA mandated diversity quotas at all its tournaments? Based on this years squads that would work out to around four players of colour for each squad. There'd be a scramble to sign up and naturalise the available talent, but why should former imperialists, colonists and slave-traders continue to get the lion's share?
Looking on the bright side tonight's match in Leipzig looks set to break all diversity records for an international tournament in Europe.
Chin up.

You're missing the real problem. Too many international players in the Premiership means fewer home grown players to choose from.
There isn't enough investment in academies. The high wages of the Premiership attract some of the best players in the world, and those players know the strengths and weaknesses of our best players.
They're prepared in advance knowing how our players play.
If you want a better England team, we need fewer international stars and more training academies. It doesn't matter what colour the English players are, we need more home grown talent. It's been downhill since 1966. There's been two world cups where England didn't even qualify, 74 and 94. Gazza was on the squad in 94. Think about it.

It's 8-8 in the diversity stakes. I'm pretty sure that's a record for a match between two European countries.
Ought we to be celebrating?

Why not just BT? Or even British Telecom? It's almost as if they're ashamed...

As long as Southgate clings to his evangelical vision of diversity certain players, who should not have been in the squad in the first place, will remain undroppable. How do you manage to be such an evangelical Man United fan when you look at their squad? Do you think if they got rid of all their black and foreign players they’d be champions?

Why not just BT? Or even British Telecom? It's almost as if they're ashamed... Perhaps it offended SNATs and Europhiles to call something British.
