On the contrary if you continue to fail to listen to ordinary peoples concerns as they have done then sh** will happen,as for it being legal migration causing the problem who do you think all those people the other side of the channel wanting to jump in to a dinghy are? This shit is happening because the leaders are hog tied by the ECHR. Many people have called for leaving the ECHR and many others like myself have favoured changes be made. But it appears to be the case that the ramifications of such a moves could lead to more dangerous and damaging events in the world. Like encouraging dictators and extremists. They claim to be asylum seekers and as such the law state that they should be given asylum. So at least put the blame where it belongs. Wrong. The Law states they should be offered asylum if they can PROVE they are genuine asylum seekers. To prove that you need to demonstrate you can safely return to your Country Of Origin. As many of them refuse to identify a Country Of Origin they are not "asylum seekers" they are "criminals who have illegally entered the UK". They should be treated as such. We should build a detention centre for them on South Georgia. Willing to bet that stems the flow. All The Best

The islands of Hirta, Soay and Eilan Dubh look suitable.

Freedom of Movement is a massive problem for the EU.
The UK was massively pro-EU till FOM kicked in, then it became obvious to a large chunk of the population that we were being flooded with cheap labour from Eastern Europe. This drove down wages, overwhelmed our public services and created housing shortages. Allowing six million people to flood into the country with zero planning was never going to end well.
Now we have left the EU, millions of Eastern Europeans are now flooding into Germany, France and Spain instead creating massive resentment.
As for rejoining, I wouldn't be so certain that we would vote to re-join. Most people aren't aware of just how many EU nationals flooded into the country. When the truth is put on the side of a bus and fact checked are you certain people would vote for a 2nd wave of ten million people coming our way? Our youngsters cannot get a house now, imagine voting to increase the population by another 10% and thinking that will solve the problem lol. Imagine telling millions of unskilled workers then will have their wages drove down again, and cancelling apprenticeships because it's cheaper to import people than train our own lol.

The UK couldn't do too much re FoM. FoM is sacrosanct.
Many Europeans speak English as a second language.
FoM was a catastrophe for the UK primarily because our language draws in many, and that's not forgetting wages in comparison to Eastern bloc nations.

Sean Foo had a few clips of French TV here with Le Pen being interviewed about Ukraine, Nato etc and a look at the French economy.
This lady is projected to gain power very soon, and she is talking about the Berlin Wall on wheels.
Don't you love the way the French express themselves. Biden will not be happy hearing her talk. She believes France should leave the EU and Nato.

As things currently stand in this country, MOST people from the business world, in particular exporters, believe that Brexit was a huge mistake. So all you’re telling me is 100 multi-millionaire CEO’s don’t give a fuck about the way the European Hegemony screws the ordinary brit
