Really? Mismatched pair of shoes, one of which is clearly on the wrong foot. How smart do you have to be to do that? I have an IQ of 140+ and I have never managed it; not even when so drunk I couldn't stand unaided and couldn't see properly for 3 days. All The Best How do you think she would compare to Farage in brains? They are both in the same trade and that trade is measured by the number of votes they accrue. Someone yesterday mentioned to me she had a 33k majority as a Labour rep. Have you seen Farage stand in an election? The seat she is in they could put a Labour rosette on a six-weed dead pigeon and it would still win. All The Best

All The Best Yes so if you want a secure job as a Labour MP then that would be the place to stand eh? I don't see any contradiction in the hypothesis that she is probably quite smart here.
Now as we know this area is extreme leftwing compared to the national average. Out of the many constituencies, it stands to reason we will have outliers on the other side of the curve (think Gaussian probability distributions). So if Farage were as smart as her, would he not stand in an extreme Faragista constituency and get a 33k majority?
It seems to me the girl with the Jahmaican footwear has outstepped Farage and his team of experts.

Maybe you're just living in a fantasy world, Baron. She will get in as an independent. Watch and you will see.

Starmer has said she isn’t barred from standing. youtu.be/-bFrxUt1E?si=jdd8f2ZA0x9repLU It’s a shame imo because she’s a complete disaster Nah, she's perfect and should be party leader.

...I can't say I support her political position, but where the vast majority of the parliament think in the Westminster group think, she is off somewhere else entirely... With the fairies, mostly.

Now Diane Abbott has been persuaded to stand, I think she’ll retain many of her 33,000 majority. Is Starmer playing tough and really in charge of all this? Or is he in danger of losing the plot…? I agree. As I was trying to explain previously, she is smarter than many take her for. Starmer is going to get burnt over this. Don't be daft, if she causes her own party to get burnt then she isn't that bright is she.

Actually I think there is a bit more to it than that. She did go to Cambridge. I personally do have a lot of respect for old school Oxford and Cambridge academia. I was a keen customer of their university press, so I know Cambridge is a top institution. They teach you a few smart tricks that come in handy time and time again and enable you to understand stuff more clearly. I think armed with the right tuition she is somewhat forearmed. Of course she panders to racists as well, but they would say that about Farage. Why can't Farage budge his vote as well as she can? Maybe this is why the Tories refused to be associated with him for so long. They know what he is doing wrong to get the proles' support. The monkey magic isn't working.

Why are you diverting attention toward Farage when he has nothing to do with this? Whether you trust him or not, Farage doesn't do identity politics. Now you're bigging up race-baiting Abbott and dissing Farage over something he doesn't do. I can only conclude that you're lying for her.

It's a genuine mystery, and all the more so because in polling, Farage is rated as one of the most popular/the most popular on the list over hundreds.
I think the answer is that out of those who vote, they prefer extreme left-wing nutters. You see she is doing the same kind of act as Farage but pushing the opposite thing. It's the same act as Johnson as well. Give the proles a laugh and they will vote and support you in an emotional way. What the proles hate though is someone way smarter than they are. They assume that means they will be conned for sure. These two both fit that window. not too smart, but smart enough to get a laugh.
