16 is about the age where you become aware of politics . M the kids would have been subject to the cult of wokeism for a while and be without enough life experience to realise how toxic and false it is . The Nazis knew this. So did the church. 16 is when you become a Marxist You need to be an income tax payer to become a tory THATS why Wankford, Sturgeon and now Starmer all want 16 year olds to have the vote. Funny how those same age groups are too young to do anything else that used to be reserved to citizens above the age of minority. And too young to understand what they were doing when they left the UK to join ISIS |

Starmer has done another u-turn over given EU citizens the vote...What the wanker promises the dumfucks who are the only ones who beleive him is his promises will be forgoten whithin the hour... Starmer makes U-turn on promise to give EU citizens right to vote... Starmer has ruled out giving the vote to EU citizens if he wins the general election in a U-turn on a previous pledge. He had called for EU nationals to be given full voting rights in the UK in his 2020 Labour leadership camapign. The proposal prompted accusations from that Tories that he was "laying the groundwork to drag the UK back into the EU by stealth".

That really riles me, as our marriage of 50 years this autumn took place when my wife was 16. Our marriage would be illegal now.  |

But I remember my opposite number on the Ferranti Naval applications front in '83 came to the company a year or two before me, from Phillips Eindhoven, he kind of fled the UK with his new bride of 16 when he was 18 and one week and it took his son well past his maths A Level years to work out why.... I was in the pub with them when the son came out with 'so, dad, if I were to come home from uni saying I've got my girlfriend up the duff you can't really complain' To which he said 'just because I was a f*****g idiot doesn't mean you have to continue the tradition' He told me for two years he was his wife's legal guardian and she's drained every credit card they've had since to remind him' I recall my first use of my industrial first aid qualification very well. Called out to his home on a Saturday by a mutual friend. Said mate took his wife into Casualty with a broken wrist, my trip with him was a little more involved as he had a freezer knife between his ribs and we didn't fancy removing it. Apart from that they seemed well matched !!!! (actually I found his arsebook profile a year after the pandemic ended, looks like they divorced but after 45 years one wonders why) |

Besides if we get more youngsters involved, we'll be back in the EU before you can say referendum.
