But it is, both the Tories and Labour know immigration is a huge issue with voters which is why Starmer and Sunak are 'oh so sincerely' telling us they will stop the boats. Yes we all know they're bloody lying, the point is they both know immigration is a massive issue with the public. As it is in many EU states. Yes immigration is a major problem exacerbated by the dishonest use of it for political purposes. BUT, never say never ! I'm sure that makes sense to you.

FFS hh if the arsehole CANNOT even define a woman what fucking use is he to the UK? Perhaps by focusing on the economy, NHS, Education, law and order instead of petty culture war issues? Nope.
We are always rattling on about the economy, NHS, Education, law and order and everyone whines no matter what happens.
Personally, I can just about tick over on my pensions, the NHS is doing a good job of keeping me alive, I can read without my lips moving and have not been mugged in years. I concede the point about the petty cultural wars. Every other movie at the JW3 is about orthodox Jewish ladies complaining that they are getting a shit deal, but orthodox Jewish ladies complaining have been that they are getting a shit deal since the Almighty invented orthodox Jewish ladies and I can't see what any political party can do about that.
About the only reason I think of for voting is that it is free and I hate to pass up on a bargain

I realise I'm in a minority here but I've never seen what's so important about charisma in politicians. I don't want an entertainer for PM, I'd actually prefer someone sensible and dedicated to the job. I’d prefer a bit of honesty myself.

The sad part is Starmer doesn't want to tell us any of his (bad) policies, he doesn't want to and he doesn't have to, he's already won the General Election by Default, so his plan of action is to say or do nothing, it's already in the bag. He has made it quite clear that his initial policy is to strengthen the economy, an obvious necessity given the mess it is in. Yet he lauds and applauds Wales as a model example of the way to go.

No, you have been misled about his comment on that Welsh comment to the Welsh Leader(?). Starmer, as a leader of the opposition, was lauding the Welsh approach to dealing with one aspect of immigration which was in line with Labour / Starmer's thinking. I would need to reread the article to be clearer with my explanation, but IIRC it was clarified in the very last sentence of the article.

Well, i think that’s probably the most sensible thing i have read in here since i joined the forum. The only thing i might add is it was the Welsh version of the NHS run by the black corrupt Zambian twat in Cardiff Bay that CREATED the health problems that would kill me without the drugs they now supply for free. Is the Iranian Parliament composed of one political party or do they just join it as soon as they become an imam ? If the former then you might have to concede i know a political party that might solve the problem yiu identify ….

More stupid 'project fear' from Righties. The sooner they are returned to their own little immature world outside of politics, the better for everyone.

Nothing to do with the article where Starmer referred to the Welsh approach to part of the immigration problem that agreed with the Labour approach, that agreement from the Welsh being a good example of cooperation and a good pointer for the future.
