The UK is a democracy in name only........The weakness of the Conservative Government has meant that sir Kniel can promise little and ignore the scrutiny of TV debates and still win comfortably in the GE. We are living in a political black hole that will only continue because we don't have leaders anymore, we have Box tickers, Teleprompter readers, Tricksters and Career Liars in positions of power. Starmer clearly fears being shown up
If he had faith in his pontifications and the charisma to be the orator to deliver them he’d jump at the chance
I’d certainly relish destroying the oily little git in number ten on live tv in five episodes one for each of the policies he’s declared his priority and utterly failed to deliver msstery of

He's charisma personified compared to Sunak who's like a more sinister version of Mr Bean and lost a popularity contest to Liz Truss. Anyone who's seen the video of him trying and failing to pay for a can of coke in shop knows how cringe he is when he tries to look relateable. |

The first part of your post is a good example of where you are, i.e. in a world of your own. The second part is just a return to the lying distorting denigration of the opposition, which is the norm for the Conservative party and their misguided followers. |

The sad part is Starmer doesn't want to tell us any of his (bad) policies, he doesn't want to and he doesn't have to, he's already won the General Election by Default, so his plan of action is to say or do nothing, it's already in the bag.

Labour ‘not ambitious enough’ for supporters and polls will tighten, says Kinnock
Neil Kinnock has said Labour supporters would like to see more ambitious policies in Keir Starmer’s manifesto and that the party must prepare for its lead in the opinion polls to shrink in the run up to the election.
In an interview with i, the former Labour leader said he puts Sir Keir’s more cautious approach down to trying to attract enough votes from non-traditional supporters in order to become the largest party in the House of Commons this year.
He added that the election is “a long way away” and that the opinion polls were likely to tighten as it gets closer.
“Whether that means Labour is the largest party or wins a majority, I don’t know,” Lord Kinnock said. Starmers personal ratings appear terrible , especially in scotland , and in general he is seen as a wet blanket , a political weather vane. with no morals. Certainly I agree with kinnock the low CTV in polls is overblowing the labour lead , and if people get pissed off enough to go out and vote , rather than as starmer hopes , stay at home , labours majority could be in big trouble. Starerme certainly appears to be dedicated , dedicated to winning power at all cost that is , but I dont in any way believe he is sensible , with some of his decision making and strategies error strewn and out of touch , for example Brexit and Palestine. He seems to believe lefties will stick with him no matter what he does or says , and middle c tories will flock to him in the marginals . All very blairite 1997 esque , but this isnt 1997 , and starmer is no Blair. |

im not so sure borkie. Labours CTV levels in polls are exactly the same (mid may polls ) as their CTV levels in 2019 under Corby. Starmer isnt winning over new voters to the cause , the polls are showing an overblown labour lead due to low turnout of other parties voters. Everyone is pissed off with the establishment more of the same parties , and are merely biding their time and hedging their bets on how best to tactically vote come next election is my guess. |
