It worked for the racist candidate who threw it at white people. What does that say about Labour and its supporters? No it didn't. It had little effect on the vote or the polls. A shitty self indulgent greedy lying government is what placed the Tories so low in the polls. You may like to think Boris breaking Covid rules was just Boris being Boris, but for many people it destroyed trust and called into doubt his integrity. Then when he said he had a plan to get Brexit done and it didn't work, Boris blamed the EU but people remembered that lack of integrity. That's why I said Trust is everything. What do you mean it didn’t ? He’s still a candidate after being shown up as a racist . The rest if your post is waffle mixed with Whataboutery . So you made my point for me . |

And the many Irish and commonwealth students /workers and their dependants . As long as the have student visas or leave to remain they can vote in UK elections . They can also use a postal vote if they have returned to their own countries for a break or are unable to vote in person . Want to put some numbers with that, rather than let folks assume the election is rigged? Thats the point I think , there are no numbers .(yet) . Im not saying that means the elections are rigged ,Im giving a reason for the high postal vote. |

Im not saying that means the elections are rigged ,Im giving a reason for the high postal vote. Well we could estimate the number of postal votes compared to in person. Then see if the numbers are anywhere large enough to make a difference to the outcome. I suspect with a chasm of the size it is in this election the answer is no. |
