The way some people go on you would think the Tories were against membership of the EU... I would just people that the Tory Government and a majority of the Tory MP's campaigned to remain.

Farage forced a referendum and a prime minister to resign, and that was with no seats. Like I said, there's no fool like a left wing fool. Keep laughing. Only because its what the public already wanted and Cameron was convinced remain would win. But immigration was his downfall not Nigel. Nigel just used it to get what he and his banker mates wanted, to get out of the EU. The Tories realised this and jumped on the 'blame the EU' band wagon. The EU caused our immigration problems with their FoM. Damn them. We Tories will save you. Scoundrels and Cads the lot of them. But it was the Tories encouraging ever more immigration and as soon as we left FoM they bought in millions from Asia and Africa instead. Yet still some are too blind to see the stupid con. Every prime minister since John (The Bastard) Major, knew damned well the UK euro sceptic electorate wanted a referendum. The only reason Cameron was forced to give in and allow that long overdue referendum was because UKIP were polling 12.7% of the vote and all indicators showed that UKIP thanks to Farage would become more and more popular. Cameron was advised the electorate would vote to remain in the EU, and a remain vote would have the added bonus of killing off UKIP. Fortunately for the majority, and sadly for Cameron, it didn't quite work out that way did it. What do you mean by Nigel and his banker mates? Are you one of these lefties who think he used to be a banker? Tsk tsk tsk, you really should do your homework. ZG honestly, this is like banging my head off a hard surface, honestly it's as if you lefties have just woken up from a 30 year kip. ZG, the Tories are pro EU. They talk about sovereignty and independence but make no mistake Cameron, Boris, May and Sunak are all pro EU. They may not be quite as manically pro EU as Labour or the LibDems, but make no mistake the political establishment in this country are pro EU. Surely to god this doesn't come as news? Christ Heath handed the UK to the EEC, and Major handed us to the EU. And this is why the resurgence of Farage in British politics is guaranteed. The political establishment aren't listening to the electorate, so the electorate will turn to Reform UK, as a decade ago they turned to UKIP.

We only need an additional 12-odd seats to flip from blue to orange to make Ed Davey LOTO ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes I know its only one poll, but other comments on this tweet have noted that its a reputable polling organisation, with others observing that the polls have never been this one sided in history, including in 1997.

We just need a government that isn't made up of backstabbing corrupt lying EUphiles, which totally rules out the LibLabCon one-party state. The logical answer is something like Reform, or just Reform, but for some seemingly peculiar reason the same BS just keeps being rehashed by fanatics.

Red, you can't just make shit up and then say every one knows its true. Everyone didn't know the UK was EU sceptic. Everyone knew the UK was immigration exhausted. Nigel Farage turned that into something to blame on the EU. But the millions from Poland were only as threat because of the millions from everywhere else who were already here. Every service over stretched, every road crowded. Nigel had an easy path. Put up a poster showing thousands of Turks queuing to come into the UK and bingo, its the Eu's fault. Get out of the EU and immigration stops, they wont be able to force anymore Poles or Romanians on us and our government can stop immigration once and for all. Now. Tell me that's not what happened?

Leaving the EU was a step.

Make shit up! I didn't make anything up. Christ this is special. ZG, listen old son sit down and take a breath because this is obviously going to come as a shock. The 21st century European migration disaster, and it is a disaster, is 100% the fault of the EU. It was planned and implemented from Brussels, and yes accepted by the pro EU British political establishment. Over the past 20 years the UK population has increased by nearly 8 million, England has been the most densely populated country in Europe since 2007, and net migration is currently running at 780,000 a year. This is not sustainable. From Blair to Sunak no prime minister has made any serious attempt to control immigration legal or otherwise, and that is the reason Farage and UKIP were successful, and believe me, it's the reason Farage and Reform UK will be successeful. People are sick to death of mass immigration which is changing this country forever and lowering living standards for everyone. This country is full.

An 80 seat majority has been enough to break Britain. Perhaps a 1945-style rejection of the travails of the past 14 years could be the precursor to a happier future for the UK… I am old enough to remember when you could walk through the streets of London and hear the people around you speak English. I have not heard another person speak English in Newport's two LIDL stores for over a decade. Those who can seem subdued and their voices are drowned out by voices clearly off a rubber boat I don't know how Starmer can fuck this country up more than Blair succeeded in doing but with polls now showing Sunak is going to lose his seat he's certainly about to be handed all the rope he needs Liz Truss was far too overoptimistic If I get the castor bean seeds in I might have time before the riots start I’ve travelled in parts of Wales where speaking English has been an initial problem for the non-Welsh speaker. Mind you, that’s overcome with the rustle of a fiver or two…

Leaders debate on now if Starmer says one more time “when I was chief prosecutor “ I might end up being prosecuted

Not quite, get out of the EU and our government have the ability to control all immigration, the next step of course is getting a government to carry out the wishes of the people. Leaving the EU was a step. I was talking about what was said. Nigel never said and your government will have the ability to stop immigration. And my point was that FoM would have been fine if we hadn't spent decades before propping up our economy by inviting millions from across the globe to live here. If Nigel was trying to be honest with the people, that's what he would have said. And that still holds true 8 years after leaving FoM, staying in would have meant less people coming here than the ones we have invited. Time to wake up and smell the reality Nigel had his own reasons for wanting us out of the EU, he just found one most appealing to the British public. Nigel could have informed the public that there was no need to leave the EU to stop immigration
