People who work hard, make a contribution, keep their noses clean and look after their families have my respect regardless of who they vote for. But you do you. Why respect people who live a decent conservative lifestyle but are so dumb that they would vote Labour? Labour will only rob them blind and brainwash their kids. Aint that the truth...

Perhaps if the Tory press and social media had stopped bleating about the luxurious life handed out to immigrants and asylum seekers by the UK we might have found that more remained in countries like France, Germany the Netherlands, etc, which each treat (the greater number of) immigrants they take better than the UK does... Compared to what the EU and French hand out to illegals, they are handed a luxury lifestyle in this country. Perhaps if we issued them with a tent or a prison bed in a container, as the EU/French do, they may be less inclined to cross the channel.

Perhaps if we issued them with a tent or a prison bed in a container, as the EU/French do, they may be less inclined to cross the channel. That's crap and you know it — all through their asylum seeking process, an asylum seeker in France is entitled to health insurance (allowing them to access medical care), accommodation (housing), monthly allowance (financial assistance each month), and bank account... Just looked up gov.uk for asylum seekers - seems they get plenty www.gov.uk/asylum-support/what-youll-get#:~:text=Cash%20support,cash%20from%20a%20cash%20machine. What you'll get
You can ask for somewhere to live, a cash allowance or both as an asylum seeker.
Housing

somewhere to live
£49.18 per person on a payment card for food, clothing and toiletries (or £8.86 per person if your accommodation provides your meals)

the payment card if you do not take the offer of somewhere to live
any money
Extra money for mothers and young children

These are the facilities put on by the EU/French authorities, containers and tents. These are the facilities put on by the UK government, luxury hotels. If I were an illegal living in a tent or container in the EU state of Frog, I'd want to get to the UK, wouldn't you? If illegals were treated the same in this country as they are in the EU/France, perhaps they wouldn't be so keen to cross the channel.

As we exit hotels, we will continue to demand that local authorities deliver on their mandated commitments to their regional dispersal plans. Dispersal accommodation is cheaper to the taxpayer and more manageable for communities. We will also continue to deliver the ramp up of the Bibby Stockholm and our large sites as accommodation to ensure we can reduce reliance on hotel accommodation.

It was only a short-term 3 year blip though. By 2011 the the trajectory of income equality was back on track. Of course, it was fair that the rich who lost money on the stock-market did so, they had excess money to waste on gambling, they lost it. I am sure most people wouldn't give a damn if the John Scrote from the local council estate lost £20 on the 1pm race at Chepstow, so why should they give a damn when Rupert Bigwig loses it on the stock-market? If you can't afford to lose it you shouldn't gamble it in the first place.
All The Best Of course, it was fair that the rich who lost money on the stock-market did so, they had excess money to waste on gambling, they lost it.

One good thing that will come from a Labour victory?
There's more than one good thing; maybe we can start to get a handle on fixing the Tories actual legacy: Closed 600 police stations Closed 800 public libraries Closed 1300 children's centres Cut council funding by 50% Extra 600,000 kids in poverty Extra 5 million people on NHS waiting list Highest tax burden in 70 years 1000% increase in food banks Trebled national debt Trebled immigration Stagnant economic growth Dirty rivers
All The Best

Want to continue jumping to stupid conclusions? Workplace Pension is a great idea - gambling it all on the stock market not so great. Of course the State Pension being so pitiful is a Political choice made by the Conservatives so they could reduce NICs and taxes on big-business and the really rich. All The Best
