So, Starmer has confirmed he will cancel Rwanda, even if it is working, and form a new organisation called 'The Border Security Command' who will target people smuggling gangs and secure our borders.
This is the biggest pile of steaming pro EU, pro migrant bullshit I have heard in years.
Starmer will not stop or even deter criminals from crossing the channel, quite the reverse. He will have an amnesty for all illegals already in this country and accept EU migrant quotas which will probably reduce the number of cross channel dinghies, while increasing the overall number of criminals entering this country from the EU.
His so called Border Security Command will just add another layer of bureaucracy that like the Border Force will inevitably help illegals across the channel. The EU and every illegal in the EU are desperately hoping for a Labour government.

Well yes, quite. People may not be aware but apart from the Border Force, we already have a 'Small Boats Operations Command'. Starmers proposal of a new agency, The Border Security Command, is bullshit. It will change nothing. He is attempting to give the impression he will do something, while in reality making it easier for illegals to enter this country from the EU. Starmer is a complete charlatan. |

It surely speaks for itself - a beefed up section of our Borders & Immigration Agency, with more powers, including similar powers used in counter terrorism, with assistance from MI5, new laws including the right to detain and question those suspected of people smuggling. New laws to track people suspected of people smuggling, and to limit their movements and close down bank accounts. Intelligence gathering has not played a big enough part in stopping the boats, prevention and deterrence is better than trying to cure the problem after it has happened. |

Starmers announcement of yet another agency is Bullshit designed to sound good without having any real substance. It's smoke & mirrors nothing more. Lets assume for a moment Starmer did manage to 'smash the gangs'. Do you for one moment imagine they wont be replaced by other gangs, and again lets assume the gangs did disappear. Why would that stop illegals crossing the channel in dinghies? Illegals are nothing if not determined. I want to know what Starmer will do about 115,000 illegals who have had asylum applications refused. He refuses to talk about it, could this be because he intends to allow an amnesty which will be seen by every illegal in the EU as act of surrender and a green light to head for England. You appear to be unaware that socialist lawyer Starmer is very pro EU and very pro immigrant.
