I just listened to a report about this and I jest not I was laughing my head off, I mean the irony of it is beautiful.
Ireland, an EU state complaining about illegals entering Ireland from the UK, after they have travelled across a borderless EU. And have you noticed, these people are poor refugees when they land on English beaches, but criminals if they cross from Northern Ireland back into the EU!
I think the authorities in Northern Ireland should put just as much effort into stopping these poor refugees from crossing the border (back into the EU lol) as the French authorities do in stopping them cross the channel.

Indeed, it's quite delicious: The EU encourage these people via it's open borders. Then it off-loads them onto the UK. Then it complains when they go back to the EU.

Wonder how the UK is going to play this without infringing the GFA and subsequent undertakings...

I can hardly believe this, Macron has joined the bunfight now and is blaming the UK for allowing illegals to cross from Northern Ireland to the EU. Can you believe this? Macron, who has allowed hundreds of thousands of foreign criminals to drag dinghies down French beaches en route for England, now blames the UK for allowing them to cross from Northern Ireland back to the EU, that cheese eating surrender monkey has got one brass neck.

Not sure even you follow that reasoning — eg, what migration is the EU initiating? I’ve not done the calculations, but EU countries don’t seem to be taking fewer asylum seekers per head of population than the UK… |
