Sorry, this is BS. They are not addressing the perpetrators who hold the hostages . They are cowards and hypocrites. Your support of this hypocrisy doesn’t do your credibility much good. We are talking about Westerners here, who have no leverage with Hamas and nothing to bargain with for the hostages. Only Israel can negotiate for the hostages, but Netanyahu's priorities appear to lie elsewhere, and a great many Jews, both in Israel and the West, are extremely perturbed by that. That's not true, there have been plenty of negotiations and several times Hamas have refused a ceasefire and refused a hostage deal. America agree that process has come to the end of the road. Qatar have reportedly threatened to kick out Haniyeh from their country unless he secures a hostage deal.

How was he inciting anyone - what specifically was he doing to incite people to violence?. The Police guy said that it was because he looked Jewish and wanted to cross the road - if that is not correct what did he want to do? Every week there is an Iranian guy there who holds up a placed stating that Hamas are terrorists - the pro-Hamas marchers attack him and the police arrest him for 'incitement' Seems that this incitement is anything that does not fully support the aims of the protestors - ie|: the total destruction of Israel and all the Jews in it. I notice you cherrypick one part of my post and ignore the relevance of the rest so I’ll reply in kind,he wasn’t just going for a walk as you claim was he? This is the point - if he didnt want to walk across the road what do you think he did want to do?

You said ‘ don’t out words in my mouth ‘ then posted a complete falsehood ‘ I'm saying they probably see that it would be futile to petition Hamas given that all the bargaining power rests with Netanyahu."‘. It was lame excuse to mitigate the fact that Hamas would ignore any demand of that nature . Then you threw in a strawman . It is not a falsehood to say what I think, which IS that the protesters probably see it would be futile to petition Hamas. Since Hamas does not have Western support, the protesters have no leverage with Hamas, and nothing with which to bargain for the release of the hostages. Only Netanyahu has that. Being anti-war and anti-genocide does not equate to being pro-Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Let's be clear about that. Israel's government has gone far too far in decimating the Palestinian population, the majority of whom are civilians. Roughly 12,000 were murdered by Hamas on October 7th vs roughly 34,000 slaughtered by Israel in response, and they are not done yet . Western protesters, including large numbers of Jews, object to their governments funding these continued atrocities. Nonsense. You are making an assertion and hiding behind the word ‘ probably ‘. You know that Hamas would not release the hostages on demand and pretend that is because Hamas has no leverage ( while admitting that the protesters know that Hamas would ignore it ). And once again you throw in a strawman after that . Are you honestly claiming that Israel would give nothing back to Hamas if Hamas was to promise to release the hostages ( dead and alive ) and kept to that promise ?

It has been suggested that Hamas is shy of a hostage release deal due to so many hostages being killed in captivity.

I'm saying that a lot of Israelis and Western protesters believe that Netanyahu hasn't given the release of the hostages priority over the military objectives.

Imagine electing a terrorist organisation that is hellbent on destroying Israel, which dedicates its resources to terrorism and hides behind civilians. Also imagine why the people suffer because of it. On top of that, imagine supporting this terrorist organisation's motives whilst trying to pass yourself off as the good guy. www.spiked-online.com/2024/04/22/a-howl-of-rage-against-civilisation/Exactly . It will of course go ignored by the usual anti-English Snat supporters and the unhinged anti-Jews.

What I said was that the protesters have no leverage with Hamas. Yes, that is why Hamas would ignore them. Precisely. What, then, would be the point of addressing Hamas? Where did I claim that Israel would give nothing back in exchange for the hostages?

So you think protesters ‘ probably’ think it’s futile to demand Hamas release hostages because Hamas will ignore them..which is exactly what I said … If Israel will respond to Hamas releasing hostages then the only reason ‘ protestors ‘ would not press them to do it is because they know that they would ignore them ..or that they would be attacked by the crowd for suggesting it. You seem to be suggesting things then denying that you suggest them .
