Yes but surrounding that is an even greater problem and that is how the hell it came about in the first place. This is like fixing one thing the madness has caused, but keeping the madness in place to generate even more ridiculous ideas. We have lunatics running the asylum and they are baring anyone rational from gaining employment in the asylum. This is the base problem. It's generational. The madness has reached senior management as time elapsed and the crazy students of 30-40 years ago worked their way up. Yes, "generational" --- one way or another it influences the writings of all the Abrahamic religious writings going back thousands of years. There is an obvious problem out there, to just blankly dismiss it is not the answer. If you study our history of development it was a building process. We inherited Greek learning, especially Aristotle's logic, and from that base we built upon it, first in the monasteries and later on we built universities. This continued until about the 1950s. Now the idea is to change the base assumptions, so all knowledge which hangs from it is rejected. We see this where they say woman is man or man is woman. This is base knowledge, understood as far back as the caveman.
I used to think there was a plan behind this, as per some sort of conspiracy to destroy our civilisation. Now most of the evidence seems to point to the lunatics doing it to themselves. This is more like a mass mental illness and to get a well-paid responsible job the qualifier is that one must be mentally ill as well. By the way, from my point of view I see this thread and the one on autistic people applying for jobs are related. Autistic people rely to a much greater degree on rational logical thinking. Could it really be that anyone rational, be they autistic or not is shut out of the responsible job market. Say if you have an IQ over 140, will you only be able to do manual supervised work?

What I was saying about causing GBH is very clearly explained in this thread where a man who transitioned regretted it and is now a eunuch male living a life of misery.
It's one of the reasons that people cannot consent to GBH, i.e. having perfectly healthy parts of their bodies cut away. No matter what they think at the time:

Your thoughts on this Baron? They are dealing wit their psychological problems. It's the first I have heard of it, but it is a story in the Global Times. They say it was created because some kid had been reading foreign media and figured they were trangender, plus it goes on to say this bollox is affecting their school work and there is a risk of suicide. Promotion of trangender in China is still illegal. |

Most people everywhere are against sex change ops and transsexuals, doesn't stop it happening.
I wouldn't want to get with a transsexual. But I don't want to bully one either.
I just want those who do go through the procedure to be fully informed before they make a decision which could easily ruin their lives.

I heard a recent stat that 8.7 million people were taking antidepressants in this country. Why are so many people depressed? Well there are many reasons, but I bet you never counted on the psychotherapists to help you become more depressed and unhappy. It is indeed what they teach, and it is is just one of the many mad things these people do. This is Amy Gallagher talking to a woman who did a similar training course in the US to train as a psychotherapist. It turns out the UK and the US have gone mad, but surprisingly it is the UK which is worse than the US, and not only does this happen at Tavistock, but in the UK there are even worse. This is a problem across the board.
It took me ages to watch this video. My jaw dropped so far with various revelations I had to stop the video and think about it. In the first 15m Amy recounts what it is like to train at the Tavistock. After that the other woman explains how the US training system is and then we get some more revaluations from Amy and some very good psychoanalysis of the teachers.
The concern here is if this is replicated across the education system then we as a nation are in big trouble. Without education the country falls into enemy hands. Vinny - wake up. This is not Chinese and Russians threatening our liberty. This is our own people, especially women.
I watched the first fifteen minutes and wasn't surprised at all by what she said. This has been happening for a good solid decade at least by certain authorities and institutions. It has now leached out into society and is commonly known as woke. Extremist academia has been working this in universities and institutions like Tavistock for years. Unbeknown to them, this is where our more woke posters get their tendencies from. And yes, lunatics are running the asylum and destroying society from within. |

No BvL, I didn't watch it, and you will no doubt be surprised to hear that I'm no psychologist, no honest I'm not. But the reason we as a country have lost the plot and when I say lost the plot I'm referring to all this woke gender nonsense, is because thanks largely to millennials and gen z types who have no sense of pride or honour, we have developed into a fat, pampered, comfortable nation of demanding whingers who live on benefits and fast food, neither of which were available 70 years ago when many people in this country were poor but pulled together and got on with things. |

I did watch the first 15 minutes, the lady was perfect in refuting the silliness, i presumed the rest would be the same. It is disturbing that educateed adults, in positions of power, subcribe to this, even when faced with obvious flaws. When big brother says to this, those do. As in Nazi germany, believe, behave like this, do this, or face the consequences, when you look at the pressure that lady was under, then you get the reasons why the Tavistock managers etc gave in. The real culprit was from above, yup, its the governmeent, the Tories. In Japan in the old days, i dont know if its like it now, they had a very rigid system, that if a nail sticks up, hammer it down. If you take it on a wider scale, multiply upwards, the government, in all its dealings has lost touch with reality, how apt this shows in mental health. In all things the tories have lost the plot, Sunak is nuts, none of it is good, we are on the brink of dictatorship. I agree that the Tories have lost the plot.
But we're not on the brink of dictatorship, we're on the brink of a Labour government.
Bad, but not as bad as Russia or China have it.
I can only hope it's a one term government, two at most. Starmer's crap.
