I make no apology for using the dictionary I make to apologies for pointing out that you ignoring the reality of language and finding an excuse for your pedantry . Not only that but you try to pretend others have nefarious reasons for questioning your curious use of pedantry mixed with obtuseness.

Oh the irony. It's projection to condemn all that care about wider issues of the disadvantaged and environment as if they are the same as a few nutters and self serving extremists that use illegal methods for their ends. I certainly don't class everyone who cares about the environment or the disadvantaged as woke. To be woke in my book you have to display some of the characteristic mental problems or behaviours And there we have it, the classic at best lazy and often dishonest tactic of the Daily Misery fuelled far right. Take a word that describes a large number of peaceable people you are woefully incapable of arguing against and then apply it to a few lawbreaking nutters that share some of their views and then demand we all believe that the word uniquely means lawbreaking nutterdom. You'd be complaining long and loud if anyone suggested 'Republicans' meant violent attackers of the Capitol, 'Leavers' meant those who beat up Poles and 'anti immigration' meant those who try to torch refugee centres wouldn't you.

The reality of language is the meaning of words is in recognised dictionaries of provenance No it isn’t . The reality of languages is the recognised definition of the words ..at the time . Thats why dictionaries change definitions and add and subtract words. Dictionaries follow and adapt to the perceived definitions of the time.

You are not exactly being a Lion are you? Most Lions would stop digging when they had dug such a hole for themselves but not you apparently. Mice hide behind red triangles when they have lost their own arguement or need to abuse their own authority.
And I have heard it many times thanks.

I bought a Moondog album once and it was mostly self serving rubbish. But that line just seems to capture some of the pseudo absurdity of how modern live has turned so much upside down. I'll change my sig at some time just not today.

Strangely enough , Moondogs words seemed quiet profound to a 13 year old when we played it . Just as ‘ Standing on a porch of the Lido hotel . Floozies in the lobby love the way I sell ‘ sounded ultra cool .

And there we have it, the classic at best lazy and often dishonest tactic of the Daily Misery fuelled far right I think you are getting mixed up here. I'm putting clear blue water between (say) being concerned about the environment and the dense forest of cognitive/ personality/ behavioural disorders that characterise wokedom

For the umpteenth time .
