Doesn't surprise me. Farage was first de-banked. Now, as an "ex-politician" his own show gets more figures than Sky and BBC, but according to the media establishment this isn't good for democracy. Welcome to Soviet Britain! Thats a bit rich as a defence for what is blatant propaganda.

You are confusing reading the news as in a 'news bulletin' which GB News have on an hourly basis, and discussing current affairs. You are confusing your opinion with a ruling delivered by a government appointed body, in accordance with government mandated guidelines, who have more understanding of the regulations than you or I ever will. If you have an issue here it is NOT with Ofcom, but with the Government that appointed them and set their remit and guidelines. But that would mean criticising the Tories, rather than "the left" wouldn't it? Would you be calling out Ofcom if they had made a similar ruling with similar circumstances about a left-leaning news outlet? Just checked, all current serving officer of Ofcom were appointed by the Tories. All The Best Christ almighty, how can something so simple be so difficult? Why do lefties need the simplest of things explained in pictures. If you read back, the allegation made by... you or HH perhaps, was that MP's read the news on GB News. This is false. MP's do not and never have read the news on GB News. News readers read the news. Some ex and current MP's both Conservative and Labour, regularly take part in current affairs programmes. For the love of god ask an adult to explain this to you, slowly.

For the love of god, do you need my dog to explain it to you? All The Best

GB News is one of several privately owned TV news channels which are openly and intentionally biased, and that is the very first fact to bear in mind, a fact which indisputable.
GB News is overwhelmingly pro a hardline Conservative viewpoint, often pro Reform UK, and it is NEVER bipartisan or neutral.
GB News is not "Under Attack", it has been warned for breaking the rules, the rules clearly state that a serving politician cannot front or present a news programme unless in very special editorial circumstances.
Our three mainstream TV News providers BBC, ITN & SKY present news "as it is", leaving the viewer to make their own minds up, and to think. Whereas GB News presents the news from a right wing perspective, it is biased, and always is.
What does it say about democracy, when there are no Left biased TV News Channels, but there are several Right biased TV News / current events channels, how does this tie in with the number 1 principle of News .... TO INFORM.

Ooooh, nerve... ...hit.... Must be getting close to the mark, All The Best LOL, you couldn't hit a barn door at ten paces. Here to help. If making a factually based argument is tantamount to firing arrows at a target, yours have been going so far astray that they are probably spearing your own arse. I put to you the obvious fact that if a regulatory body, whose members have been wholly appointed by the Tories, and are certain to have a more in depth knowledge of the regulations than you or I have, have found GB News repeatedly in breech of the rules, they are far more likely to be correct in this judgement than you for trying to say they are wrong. As such, they are giving Labour all the ammunition they need to shut them down when they win the election. Can you imagine a left wing channel getting away with such blatant bias? And no, not the BBC which can still be pretty right wing at times, but something overtly left wing? Imagine a channel where most of the presenters were people like Jeremy Corbyn, Dianne Abbot, Rebecca Long Bailey, Polly Toynbee, Kevin Mcguire, James O'Brian, etc.....You'd be ranting all the way to the moon and back about left wing propaganda, and the Tories - who only think something can be biased if it is critical of them - would have closed it down by now. GB News mockery of balance makes it almost certain that the next Labour government will introduce much tougher laws on political broadcast neutrality. And when that happens you will have GB News' abuse of its position in pursuit of an agenda to blame for having made it necessary. To most reasonable people, a few minutes watching GB News makes it's bias obvious. It is in fact pretty much the TV equivalent of the Sun, just as dumbed down, just as low brow, just as unreliable when it comes to the supply of unvarnished information. It is a supposed news channel with an obvious political agenda. In this it is a bit like Pravda, lol

Because Ofcom - the Government Appointed regulator, with Government mandated Guidelines, and whose entire senior staff was appointed by a Conservative Government have concluded that MPs DID read the the News on GB News. Do you have any evidence that you know better than them? All The Best

He Certainly promot's It on here . It is even worse than that. He is sad enough to believe almost every word uttered on it and believe that it is largely unbiased because it tells him what he wants to think. At the very least he believes it is far less biased than the more reputable mainstream news channels, particularly the BBC.

Dont take my word for it, let The People speak for themselves
The British people prefer news to be informative, rather than subjective, it makes sense.
In 2023 71% of British people watched BBC1 News ... 49% watched ITV1 News ... 33% BBC News Channel ... 30% SKY ... 24% Channel 4 News ... 16% BBC2 News ... 12% Channel 5 ... 8% CNN ... 7% BBC Parliament 6% GB News.
The three mainstream TV News providers are way out in front, with the BBC been by a long way, the UKs prefered and most watched source of news on TV.
