OK so Hester uttered some comments about Abbott in a private meeting which have now surfaced conveniently for Starmer & co. to berate the Tories. But Abbott is not all sweetness and light viz: www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/diane-abbott-refused-to-go-on-antisemitism-course-to-rejoin-labour/ar-BB1jXT5uAn investigation into the long-serving black MP has been ongoing since her suspension last April following an article she wrote about Jewish people, with pressure mounting on the party over why it has been taking so long. Diane Abbott was offered the Labour whip back but refused because she would have had to undergo antisemitism training, The Independent has been told. If I were Hester I'd love to know who snitched.

Abbot really doesn’t seem to be the smartest cookie in the jar.
I’ve no idea how racist she is, but the overplaying of the victim card is what I think a lot of people see as a fuelling racial tensions rather than resolution of them.

Ms Abbott has in the past made the observation that England is great except for the white people, some may find that rather racist but it now does seem to be incorporated into school curriculums. Some people can say anything they like, but if you are a white Tory donor you can't. Maybe Sunak will give him a peerage in his leaving honours list, that would kick it all off.

I reckon Diane Abbott is past her sell-by date, but if she's a candidate at the next election (as independent or whatever) she could win, helped by a sympathy vote.
Seems mad of Starmer not to push for her reinstatement into Labour (or retirement) to guarantee Hackney North and Stoke Newington remains Labour.
Yesterday, the Internationalist Workers' Club were campaigning and collecting money around Abbott's constituency under the banner "Internationalist Opposition to Racism and Xenophobia". It appears to be Communist...

She was sensible enough to to tell them to FO about the brainwashing they had planned to administer to her. Regarding this incident, the Labour Party are using her whilst punishing her at the same time. The fault lies with Starmer and his fiendish mind. Never trust a lawyer. Lying and stitching people up is the bread and butter work of a typical British lawyer.

Yes but she says it in a rather playful way, as an intellectual plays with ideas. It's not meant to insult but to stimulate an argument that defeats her argument. She might say something like well why should we not have a black prime minister - I think it is a great idea myself. It's to draw out the counter augments of your opponent. One pisser where she always has a grin on her face is the opponent is handicapped because some of the strongest reasons he might proffer in response would cause an uproar, and probably get him arrested, such as to point out how Africa is stupid and you can prove it by its history of non-development. That's a sound argument intellectually, but take those away by law and she is grinning. You get the idea. She finds it rather funny how the Brits have given people like her undue power. You can't blame her, can you. She didn't give herself power. When she was younger she was an object of celebration, as per Britain's first black MP or something.

Ironic that a racist is playing the racist card, mind you no surprises there, she's spent her whole life playing the race card the 'victim' it's worked well for her going through rank and file of the Labour party ladder.

I simply can't imagine Ms Abbott as an intellectual. Perhaps Hester was also just being playful, maybe he had eight pints of Hobgoblin at a private function and thought that he was cracking a joke, if the audience had also had eight pints no doubt it did raise a laugh. Storm in a teacup.

Posters seem to believe that because a Tory donor made rather nasty, and racist comments about a black MP, it will somehow put thing right if they now attempt to portray Dianne Abbott as a not very bright person, who has made controversial comments in the past.
It DOESN'T change anything
Mr Hester is typical of a lot of Tories and their supporters, who privately, and secretly, hold nasty views about people of other ethnic and religious backgrounds, Lee Anderson been a recent good example.
I dont particularly like Dianne Abbotts style or brand of politics, but its no reason to step into the cesspit of politics, and become abusive.
This has got NOTHING to do with Dianne Abbots political beliefs, or Jeremy Corbyn, its purely about going below what is the accepted political stanfards of behaviour and conduct, and as such, Mr Hester, and Lee Anderson cannot be defended.

They were nasty comments and no different than many politicians have had and their supporters 'swivel eyed loons' for example. It was not racist becasue he specifically said he did not use Dianne Abbott as a reason to hate all black women. It seems saying one is not racist and not going to be racist is now racist. Only from the left

Only from the left It's a psychological problem. Certain words trigger them. It's a by-product of brainwashing, but respects to Abbott for refusing the mind control. The worst ones are the journalists in my opinion. They are fully brainwashed.

"Dianne Abbot makes me want to hate all black women"
And the poster above, declares that this IS NOT a racist comment ?
"She (Dianne Abbott) should be shot"
Some posters believe the above is NOT inappropriate

So if Abbott said 'Hester makes me want to hate all white men' ..... which Abbott wouldn't think twice about saying, it would have been water off a ducks back because it was 'Diane Abbott' who said it, and we have to accept her controversial statements that she's renowned for OPENLY saying.
