If an Asian, Muslim Labour donor had said about Penny Mordaunt what Hester said about Diane Abbott you and the others defending Hester would not be defending him, far from it you'd be having a field day condemning him, I'd bet my house on it. I think the reaction would be more along the lines where are the complaints from the left as regards this comment. When Abbott made her White people love to... comment the reaction was not so much outrage that it was said it was wondering why the left were so inconsistent. |

I agree there are plenty of people on the left who are inconsistent with their condemnation of these things, but the same is also true of some people on the right as demonstrated on this thread. The politically committed are like the kind of football fans who are full of righteous indignation when an opposition player fouls or dives then defends to the hilt any of their own teams players who does the exact same thing. |

You seem to think that because something that is not illegal that it is therefore acceptable. On that basis, that the thread on the transgender prospective parliamentary candidate should be deleted as she is not illegal? Are we not becoming confused as regards racism which is subject to legal definition and the opinion of parliamentary candidates and what they propose and stand for. |

If you look at the Labour Files on Al Jazeera you will see exactly how Starmer's Labour Party is run, and it is not at all pretty. It works more along the lines of an elite secret society who will use any methods at their disposal. The idea there is any democracy in Labour's organisation is put to rest completely. |

Guidio has just revealed that left wing eco maniac Dale Vince who has donated £2½ million to the Labour party says Hamas are freedom fighters not terrorists.
I wonder, will Starmer be returning Dale Vince's donation?

To be clear, my view is he has done nothing wrong and has been set up. Labour might find it hard to raise an extra 10-15m for their party, so why not go the other way and deplete the funds of your opposition.
By the way, I've had similar manipulation myself on social media in an attempt to either get me banned or even prosecuted. It's a low-down game.

It's true to say you haven't condemned all three equally. Your justification for doing so is acknowledged but it doesn't make the above statement any less true. |
