So what's to stop a man walking into a women's bathroom and claiming to be a trans man? And what's to stop women beating the crap out of the arsehole for invading their privacy? Nothing as far as I know. I don't think that a man who is committed to sexually assaulting women in a public space is going to be stopped by a sign on the door. Nor would banning trans women from using women's toilets to prevent a man in a dress claim to be trans woman accessible make women's spaces any safer, it would in fact make it easier for a would be sex offender as they wouldn't have to bother with the dress, they could just turn up in their everyday clothes and claim to be a trans man. I'm assuming that trans women have been using women's toilets for a very long time, it was never an issue before as far as I know, why is it now? |

We had this issue raised in the local social club where I go for a pint, a small minority of men were not happy that a couple of Trans men were using the ladies toilet. The committee of the club sought legal advice, and the local police stated that if a person believes they are female, and if that person appears female, then they are entitled to use the female toilets. So several years on, the Transexuals continue to use the female toilets, no one cares, nothing has happened, the world has not imploded. Do you think it moraly right for our biological women or girls to be subjected to this insanity fiddles? |

Well that’s one solution . If it becomes socially acceptable then why not ? Perhaps there could be a seperate section for urinals . |

Toilets are only a small part of the problem. The problem is that a lie should not be supported by law in principle …a law that even makes it illegal to point out the lie.
The other problem is allowing a man to declare himself to be a woman and be automatically given the identity and all rights and recognition of women .
I think ‘ trans women’ should be given a seperate identity just as ladyboys are afforded that identity in Thailand ( and other places ).
