I'm no longer sure. I used to love the fact that in my younger days (Not slavery or empire, I'm not that old) British were known for playing fair and helping others. That's all gone now, money is our god and helping others is measured on political or economic return, not doing what's right. Further we are fast becoming like those races we once despised who blamed minority groups for the ills facing their country instead of stepping up and helping. I'll tell you why I'm proud of being British, but before I go into that let me ask you a question ZG, assuming you were born in this country, where were your parents born? |

If I went to some countries and asked the same question I'd be lucky to escape with my life. Yet I'm supposed to sit here and take this shit. I am very proud of being British, if I were a religious man I would thank my god that I was born in this country. One of the reasons I feel British is because my parents were born here, my grandparents were born here etc et al. I have an infinite love of this country because it's my country and belive me I've seen other countries which is why I came home. But I'm not happy because the England of my youth is a very different country to England today. |

It was owned by my great grandfather.

And secondly, you say red cap, you may be talking Hussars or you may be talking RMP, more commonly known as Monkeys. Hussars were reconnaissance out there doing stuff you wouldn't understand. Monkeys didn't really have a job, traffic control after the event is the nicest thing I can say about them. |
