Takeaway fish and chips round here for eight people set me back £92. Adding in £11 for just one can of Red Stripe each brought the total to £103.
How many people were in Starmer's group...?
I think Richard Holden summed it up perfectly.
Richard Holden, Tory MP for North West Durham, who has led the demands for a formal probe, said: “Does anyone really believe that 30 people drinking beer and tucking into curry at 10pm on a Friday is a work meeting?
And the answer is a resounding NO.
The wanker even lied about the takeouts as the hotel he was infesting have stated that they were serving meals...

What abuise fiddles FFS? Both starmer and slack-alice were let off over their own unlawfull pissups. And are you trying to insinuate that the head of the so called enquiry witchhunt was not a member of PIE? High ranking police were also at Starmer beergate pissup, even more reason there had to be a coverup. This is the first that I have heard of this I have not seen any reference anywhere that police officers were present at the Labour Party meeting wrongly refered to as "Partygate" because it wasn't a party. I mean why would high ranking police officers attend a Labour Party meeting ?

Wasn't Holden the Tory MP who began the smear campaign, together with the Mail?
Were there 30 people? Official reports say 17, while Mail on Sunday and Sunday Times say only about 15 were present.
As Andrew Sparrow wrote: Conservatives have a clear incentive to imply there is some equivalence because implying “all politicians broke the rules” lessens the anti-Johnson outrage generated by Partygate.
Partygate became a scandal for No 10 because it involved multiple allegations of law-breaking at Downing Street. Despite the best efforts of the Tory media, this is the only incident that has come to light in which Starmer has been accused of breaking lockdown rules.
Starmer’s meal and beer in Durham is similar to at least one Downing Street event – the wine and cheese gathering in the No 10 garden on 15 May 2020, which was justified when a photograph of it was published on the grounds that the staff participating were discussing work. Sue Gray looked at this as part of her investigation into Partygate, but this was one of the few events that was not referred to the Met, because the force concluded there was not enough evidence to show it was against the rules.

Most of your posts are a string of either abuse, insults, fowl language, conspiracy theories and non-stories without any credibility. If you have anything to post which would be debateable or interesting, preferably something which is from the world of reality, then I would engage. I have seen all the conspiracy theories and stories about Paedophile rings linked to various politicians, including prominent Conservative ones, and so far, no one has come up with a shred of evidence. My own former MP (Leon Brittan) was the target of this shite. What abuse fiddles FFS? Both starmer and slack-alice were let off over their own unlawfull pissups. And are you trying to insinuate that the head of the so called enquiry witchhunt was not a member of PIE?
EDIT.......Harriet Harman expresses 'regret' over links to paedophile campaign group.....
So a Civil Liberties organisation which Harriet Harman supported, decided in its wisdom to affiliate itself with another organisation which lobbied on behalf of paedophiles. And you somehow blame Harriet Harman because without her knowledge, the organisation became affiliated to such an unsavoury organisation. Once again ... grasping at straws here, resorting to low down, gutter politics Harman withdrew her support once she knew about the affiliation, and as stated in the Independent article, regreted that she had been associated with such an organisation.

I mean why would high ranking police officers attend a Labour Party meeting ? Joy Allen was at Starmers beer & curry night. Joy Allen is a long serving Labour Councillor and Labours Police and Crime Commissioner for Durham. And lo... the Durham Constabulary decided Starmers beer & curry night for 30 people (Including Raynor who initially denied being there) was within the rules.

Well Richard Holden WOULD SAY THAT wouldn't he ? He thought that he was on to something, and he probably felt aggreived that Boris and his mates had been found guilty. Drinking a bottle of beer is not a piss-up There is, and was no rule to say that 30 people could not attend a meeting There are time and date stamped videos, which Durham constabulary have seen, which prove beyond any doubt what so ever that the gathering WAS a working meeting, this is water tight and undeniable evidence. I dont know why we keep returning to this topic, only for those who will not accept Durham Constabulary's conclusions and decision to be made to look stupid once again. I would imagine that Richard Holden is contemplating what he may do in the Autumn when he is no longer an MP

Is it only Labour who are allowed to start smear campaigns? Not at all — but smear campaigns do have more legs and have more credibility for longer, if they can be supported by facts...

I have no idea how you can compare a nibble of a cake and a sip of wine amounts to a party breaking lockdown rules.
While we have confirmed 30 people ordering £200 worth of curries, crates of beer at 10 o'clock on a Friday night, and yet that does not amount to a party?
