Like those of Boris Johnson and partygate, almost 10 different long threads going at the same time, the lefties couldn't get enough of it, same as the media, it was driving people nuts. Not to mention the lefy hypocrisy when cummins went darkside and he became the man of the hour... Yes, when he was Boris sidekick he was the worst evil liar there ever was, then when he turned bandit on Boris the same lefties were saying how honest he was telling the truth .... Top man ...... LOL... you couldn't make this shit up.

Photographs later used in evidence might have helped people make up their minds and prompt the official investigations.
Faced it, the subpostmasters wouldn't have got even this far without public opinion pushing for a proper investigation...
How many times do you have to post before the penny drops with a poster?
I said BEFORE any official police contact or any official inquiry in to Boris Johnson the lefties and their kangaroo court had already convicted him over a picture, yet Starmer was snapped from a window swigging a bottle of beer while also hosting a beer and curry night during lockdown ........ But Starmer was innocent because he said it was legal because it was a 'working' meeting ........ LOL if you believe that you'll believe anything .... just in case you've missed it I'm selling timeshare plots on Mars, don't miss out, cracking deals.
So public pressure got the authorities investigating both Johnson's cake munching and Starmer's beer drinking. Seems fair.
One investigation used — among other evidence — a photo taken at the event. The other investigation was prompted by requests from people who'd seen a snap snatched through a window. After deliberation, the PM and others were fined for breaking the law, and the leader of the opposition was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Your implication that the leader of the opposition has more influence than the PM when under investigation by the Police does seem far-fetched...

Absolutely, Starmer is a ex-DPP probably one of the most high ranking public offices you can hold, if you would have us believe that during that period he never got to know influential people, and there was never a case of ....'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours'...Starmer probably has a lot of dirt on high profile people, and he knows exactly who to call when he's stuck.

When he was Mayor of London, Johnson ousted the Met Police Commissioner. Are you suggesting that he didn't have more influence as PM?
My reading of the situation is that Johnson and others were caught "bang to rights" partying at No.10.

If it was all aboveboard why the denial from Rayner & Starmer that she was there at the knees-up
REVEALED: Angela Rayner WAS at Keir Starmer's 'beergate' event despite Labour denying it, while MPs reveal the deputy leader joked about using Sharon Stone ploy at PMQs and leader apparently flouted guidance at his own birthday bash... with cake
Labour said Angela Rayner was also at event last year after a series of denials
Admission came only after Labour officials confronted with video evidence
Keir Starmer is alleged to have broken lockdown rules with beer drinking social
** So can you explain all the denials, if it was all legal? ^^^

As Mayor of London Khan ousted the Met Police Commissioner Ms Dick - (Mayor of London is effectively boss of the Met) Any reading of the situation should deduce that a lunch break between work meetings where a slice of cake was proffered is a more legitimate meal break than a very late night beer and curry mass booze up whereby no work was scheduled or carried out after said booze up.

Can the PM oust the Met Police Commissioner? If not then the answer is no. No one denies Starmer a meal break but it wasn’t just a meal break was it?

My staff have 'meal breaks' but if I caught them ordering '£200' worth of takeaways and crates of beer I would 100% accuse them of having a party, and so would most other normal sensible people. ..... pull the other one.

Takeaway fish and chips round here for eight people set me back £92. Adding in £11 for just one can of Red Stripe each brought the total to £103.
How many people were in Starmer's group...?

I think Richard Holden summed it up perfectly.
Richard Holden, Tory MP for North West Durham, who has led the demands for a formal probe, said: “Does anyone really believe that 30 people drinking beer and tucking into curry at 10pm on a Friday is a work meeting?
And the answer is a resounding NO.
